[ Maki's at her piano today, tucking her hair behind her ear as she starts. ]

I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

S-So! If anyone is any good at writing lyrics or poetry or something, I'd let you work with me. Just get in touch with me, the sooner the better.

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

The question ends up being more personal than maybe Rise thought it would, seeing how she's blushing. ]

I-I guess...one that just develops. One that you don't really notice.

[Rise gets it almost immediately. There are a lot of fun accusations she could throw around, but she didn't want to be mean about it.]

Well, let's see. I'm not an expert writer or anything, but it seems like the best thing to do would just be to write down how you feel and then work that into lyrics.

[ Maki wishes she could be open about her feelings, but she can't do that normally, and definitely not to Rise, Chie's friend. She doesn't need Chie to hurt more either! ]

Well...I'm not sure I can really put my feelings onto paper. That's not really my forte..

Well, the way I see it, the best music comes from how we feel. I'm not much of a writer myself, so I just put my heart into how I sing. If you want to write your own lyrics, though, they'll be better if you can write from the heart, too.

I guess..I'm also not really used to listening to a lot of popular music. Most of what I have been singing and listening to is more classical..

I think someone in my group is going to help me come up with lyrics though. It's good, it will free me up to write more music.

I'm not sure. It's a bunch of girls, nine of us in total. Nico Yazawa, Honoka Kousaka, Nozomi and Eli, Rin and Hanayo, Umi and Kotori. Do you know any of them?

A couple of them casually. I like talking to other singers, and there've been a few who popped up lately.

Huh, I hadn't realized all these new performers on the network were working together, though...
