[ Maki's at her piano today, tucking her hair behind her ear as she starts. ]

I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

S-So! If anyone is any good at writing lyrics or poetry or something, I'd let you work with me. Just get in touch with me, the sooner the better.

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

I was away for longer than I meant to be, it's my fault we haven't practiced in so long. I have to take responsibility for that.

If you can prove at least ten people would like a song about bread, I'll maybe think about writing you one.

[ She says sarcastically, certain Honoka would never be able to even do such a small thing. ]

It's not like you have anything to make up to us for. We're just glad you're here, and we can practice again. [ And be all together as friends...but Maki could never say such a thing. ]

Maybe not, but I want to get back into practicing with everyone quickly, too.

[ She hopes she's right. ]

You have more energy than anyone else. I didn't think I wanted to work with anyone, but you wore me down. I think you did that with everyone.

Of course it'll work! You underestimate me.

[She holds her chin up a little, smiling.] Well energy is good! You have to have energy if you want to lift people's spirits.

You have a lot of really good energy too, Maki. When I listen to you sing, or play the piano... You're so passionate about music, it just makes me feel like we can do anything, in µ's.
