[ It's a rare occasion that Nozomi makes a transmission from her apartment, let alone her bedroom. Very little of it is seen, save for her headboard and a few ruffly pillows, which she uses to prop herself up. Her expression is a bit hazy, as she tries to resume her usual smile, although today it feels a bit dim. She is dressed in pajamas, although she has a blanket covering herself from the chest up. ]

Hi everyone. I hope everybody made it back okay. Things got pretty scary back there, but at least we got a bit of a happy ending, right?

I wanted to let everyone know that Etteilla will be running on shorter hours for a few days. I won't be able to do any readings this week, either. Sorry about that. [ She gives the camera an apologetic smile. She really does feel bad about this. ]

Hopefully things will go back to normal after this. I think we can all use a little rest.

[ACTION]

[ Anyone visiting Ninetales Vale or Etteilla might notice that the shop feels a little empty. Coeus and Mithra can be found taking turns running the shop, and the back room, which was normally reserved for fortune telling, is dark. The owner is strangely absent.

The events of last week took a toll on Nozomi and, after forcing herself perhaps a bit too much, she is nursing more than a bit of a headache. While she will likely be using this time to rest, she is also far too nice to send visitors and well-wishers away. ]

[ Coeus hovers around the shop, only looking up from his cleaning when Honoka walked in. M... Miss Honoka?! You're back! When did you get back into town? The Reuniclus floats over to her, smiling warmly.

Nozomi? She's doing all right, but Miss Eri said she wasn't supposed to have visitors and needed to focus on resting.

But Miss Eri wasn't in town right now, so you should go say hello. Don't worry, he won't tell on you. Just take the door on the left in back, that will lead to the apartment. ]

[Honoka returns Coeus' smile, shifting her basket further up on her arm to reach out and pat him gently. Even if he was somewhat like petting a sentient bowl of jell-o. She laughs quietly and nods, holding a finger up to her lips.]

Our little secret, okay?

[ O-oh he wasn't expecting a pat on the head, the bubble child looking up at Honoka in surprise. Oh, yeah, it was kind of like they had a secret, wasn't it? That was kind of exciting. ]

[She smiles warmly at him and then wiggles her fingers in a wave, headed for the door upstairs.]

[She's quiet as she ascends to the apartment above the shop, holding her basket of goodies close to herself as she knocked on the door. She threw her voice a little when she spoke, so as not to immediately give herself away.]

Special delivery for Nozomi Tojo, may I come in?

[ Honoka, she's a psychic-type, you'd be hard-pressed to fool her with something so simple. Even still, it's Mithra who answers the door, and he seems plenty surprised. When did you start working for the postal service, Honoka? Was this a new job you got in Caldera? ]

Honoka?

[ Opening the door to her bedroom, Nozomi peeks out around the door frame. Still dressed in pajamas, her hair down and hanging at her hips, she looks surprised. ]

[You hush, she was trying to make you smile. She puffs her cheeks up just a little at being discovered so quickly, even if she didn't expect any less.]

Boo, I was hoping to actually surprise you.

[She nods a little to Mithra and then slips inside to hold out her basket of goodies toward Nozomi.]

I brought some sweets from home, Eri mentioned you weren't feeling well.

It's pretty hard to surprise me.

[ You're welcome to try, Honoka. At least that's what her wink tells her. ]

Ericchi did?

I know. I'm going to keep trying, though! I'll get you one day, just you wait.

[She sets the basket down and then folds her arms over her chest defiantly. She'll get you, Nozomi. And your little dog, too?]

[Back on topic-- a nod.]

Mm. I talked to her just before she left for Caldera.

You'll have to keep training, then~

[ Elicchi, you were impossible. She could take care of herself, gosh. ]

I didn't know you'd been in the city. You should've said something.

Just you wait, I'll get you one day!!

[She laughs quietly and ducks her head in apology.]

It's not been very long since I've been back. A lot happened, I'm sorry I was away for so long.

[ She'll be waiting, Honoka. ]

It's okay, we managed. Everybody missed you while you were gone. We knew you'd come back eventually, though.

[ Although morale did suffer. Not that Nozomi would tell her that. ]

You've got a lot of catching up to do. Elicchi and Umi aren't gonna let you off easy, you know.
