This is Ensign Ichiro Ogami, formerly of the Guard. I just heard the announcement and I want to help. If anybody needs assistance in their search, please let me know and I will accompany you when I am able.

Action:

[Unfortunately, while Ogami would love to go out and find an iron mine, he has many many duties at the Union Divine Theater that are keeping him busy. Like sweeping. Oh so much sweeping. It's an off day, although visitors are still allowed in naturally and there is much cleaning to be done. Which means no adventuring for him, unfortunately]

[John looks around and then nods. Yep, he is sure cleaning. Goomy continues to be Goomy. He sits down in a chair not far away.]

So riddle me something, dude. What do you think of this iron crisis thing?

It's definitely not good. We've never had a lot of iron to begin with, a mine would be a boon but to find one in the dead of winter is no easy feat. I would have hoped for a more generalized mobilization than this.

You would think we would have heard something about this before. Or that they would have acted sooner. This weather could get people killed.

[Something about this really bothers him but people probably hear him complain enough about Union to last a lifetime.]

I'm not really built for that kind of mission but I wonder if there's something the theater could do from here to help.

If there's anything we can do I'd love to help. I'm a military man, I don't really know the strengths of the Divine Theater.

The search parties need to be more organized, that goes without saying. Maybe we can offer some kind of relief from the cold here. You know for people coming back in. Warm drinks and stuff.

That's not a bad idea. Since we're still moving forward with the next production maybe we could schedule it so the search parties will be able to come back to a warm playhouse, drinks and a show.

[John nods, pleased.]

I like the way you think! Alright, I'm going to take this up the chain of command. With any luck we can get an announcement out soon. I'm sure we can get a few near by restaurants in on it. We will have so much soup.

If we can, we might want to try to find a way to make some meat available. After a long day of searching they'll probably want something hearty.

How about some kind of beef stew? Or chicken stew. We can have multiple meat stews. Actually-

[And he goes for a piece of paper and a pen. He will jot down a number of restaurants.]

I'm about to send you on the most important mission of your life. Go talk to these people and see what they say about working with us. I'll go talk to the boss.

[And he points to the floor.]

Sorry, sir. You said it was the most important mission of my life, so it will have to take priority. You'll have to clean it yourself.

[John looks taken aback for a second. Then he grins, sliding his hands in his pockets once Ogami's gone.]

Heh. What do you think, Slimer? I think I'm gonna like this guy.
