Hi there, and Happy New Year I suppose. Mama says I should use this to get to know people in the city. Which I guess is a good idea, since there just seem to be so many people here. I'm not really used to that. Mama and Papa and I've been out exploring for years and years and years now. [Her expression brightens.] It's been a lot of fun! Mama knows a ton about plants and rocks and stuff and Papa's like super amazing at studying Pokemon and finding new species and stuff like that! Sure there weren't a whole lotta other people, but we had each other and our Pokemon, so it was fine.

[Her expression darkens and she frowns. An uncharitable person might even say she's pouting]

But then Papa fell and we had to come back here 'cause he hurt his leg, and now I keep hearing them whisper that I should stay here when they go out again so I can go to traditional school and make friends and stuff. [She crosses her arms over her chest and now she really is pouting.] I don't like that idea at all. It's too crowded and loud here. And there's nowhere near as many interesting Pokemon.

Mama mentioned I've a cousin in the city named Usagi, and that why they call me Chibiusa.

I do. Usagi Tsukino. She's a good friend.

That's it! Mama said we're going to go visit her family at some point while Papa's recovering.

Well...if she's your cousin...then that means we'll have to get to know one another better, doesn't it?

Good, that's good. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself? What do you like to do?

Um, well, I like playing with Kasugai and Licorice. And I like climbing trees and exploring, and swimming sometimes. And I like helping Mama and Papa with their research. When it's not too scary. And I like helping take care of our Pokemon.

Are Kasugai and Licorice your Pokemon friends, then?

[Okay, kid, you sound like a real handful. Rei won't even lie, she was nothing like you except the Poke-Friends bit. But then...it might be good to have you socialize with some of her Pokemon. A high energy little girl would probably do wonders for Isidis and Argyre.]

Yep! Licorice is a Mukrow, and Kasugai's a Flabebe!

Oh? Well…I have two Murkrow, myself. Are you a trainer to be, Chibiusa-chan? Or are they just playmates?

Um, well, both I guess? I mean, they're my friends, but I want to help them get stronger, and I'd love to make more Pokemon friends.

So you plan on going outside the city, hmm? Then, just to be safe? You should go with me, or Usagi-chan or someone else, okay?

Well, I hope to be going with my parents. But I suppose if they won't let me come with them I wouldn't mind going out with you.
