[Someone's setting the warp band up on a level, so that it can display-- well, right now it's just displaying part of a bulky mauve glove of a Mawile shifter and a curious Houndour in the background. The houndour is sitting on a stool beside a work bench, and apart from various tools on the workbench, there also appear to be a few empty bottles of Pecha Pop glass-bottled cola.]
--Crap, it's recording already--
[Kazuichi hurries over to join the houndour, adjusting his goggles over his hat before he clears his throat.]
H-hey-- [His voice cracks. Time to start over.] Hey! I'm Kazuichi Souda. Uh, a lot of ya might know my dad, he used ta run Iron Head Repair! But, I'm here takin' his place. So, I wanted to letcha know what we're all about, if ya haven't come by before.
[A sheepish smile, and Kazuichi stands even closer to the houndour... almost like he's trying not to seem nervous.]
S-so uh, we repair bikes and carts, and crap! But we also sell bikes, aaand if ya really want me to, we can build one for ya. But if ya need anythin' else fixed, I'm your guy! I can fix almost anything.
[Kazuichi gives the camera a bright, sharp-toothed grin, before motioning to the houndour.]
But that ain't all I've got for ya. If you've got a pokémon that needs a little extra help, I can do that, too! See, Belaire over here's got a leg missin', yeah? But, we've got somethin' for that.
[Proudly, Belaire hops to her feet and shows off her mechanical leg; the stump of her thigh has a band around it with a few pressure points that help her to lift the mechanical paw off the stool she's sitting on and put it back down. She then hops down from the stool, running in a circle around Kazuichi's feet, to prove she can move just as well as any other houndour.
Kazuichi picks her up, then, still smiling, and seems a little more confident about showing off his own work.]
You need prosthetics or splints, I can do that, too. We're up in the business district, so don't be shy!
VIDEO; LOCKED TO HINATA
Oh yeah... by the way, dude.
If you need a part time or somethin'... you can come around the shop, I guess.

[Belaire informs Junko with a tail waggle (much to Souda's distaste). She offers her head for pets after giving Junko a good sniff.
Arashi's movements startle Souda at first, fur beneath his fingers relaxes his hand at the very least. He can't help but pet the Shinx, okay. He's weak.
Gruffly, he manages--]
Yeah, yeah.

[She winks, reaching forward to very gently stroke her head and scratch behind her ears. Junko's always had a big soft spot for Dark types even before she knew she was one herself. Misunderstood sweethearts, all of 'em.]
And I guess that leg of yours is pretty clever.
[Arashi arches his back into Kazuichi's palm, a low purr like distant muted thunder starting up in his throat. Yes, yes, pets forever. Humans are great. He chirps down a reply to Belaire, though, more concerned with chatting along with her than actually talking to the human. Junko had told him to be careful, after all!]
Juu-nee is nice too!
[She could be scary. Just not all the time.]

I know.
[Belaire grunts knowingly, tail wagging. She's always had a good eye for people. That's why she helped Kazuichi in the first place.]
You're just mad cos he yelled, huh? It's okay. We're going to give Hinachi a job.
Belaiiiire!

Belaire's comment makes her pause briefly, surprised-- Hajime hadn't said anything about it to her, not yet, and there was a little spark of anxiety that she kept very carefully out of her voice as she spoke again. Guarded, but not aggressive.]
Is that right?
[Her gaze slides to Kazuichi, though she doesn't stop petting Belaire.]
That's pretty charitable of you. You know 'im real well or something?
[Or so she'd gathered, listening in on the argument.]

[Despite the kind name, Kazuichi still seems kind of gruff about it.]
We knew each other pretty well. Before he ran off, anyway.
[Belaire sighs; she's not at all surprised by Kazuichi, but she's at least glad he gave in into letting Hajime work there. It had been her idea-- something to sort of force a mending of what had been strained.]
They went to school with another friend of ours.
