[Still chiding and telling him she's started a feed, she obeys. Martin comes into view--he's in a cave of sorts. He looks...pretty sick. Boar and his Misdreavus are off to the side, giving him Looks while a Swinub cuddles in Martin's lap.]

I...this is embarrassing, but I seem to have pushed myself too much and can't make it back to Union right now. I will be fine, but it may take me a few days to get back. [Boar starts in about how of course he pushed himself too far, he didn't even take a week off before going traveling, training non stop for a week, and hiking to the highest part of the mountain he could feasibly get to. Does he want to die twice?

Martin ignores him]

So...please, don't worry. I'll be fine.

I want to travel. I can't travel if I'm weak, and I won't go to the forest any time soon. The mountains seemed...safer.

[Yuuna sighs, an exasperated expression of understanding as much as annoyance.]

Martin...the foothills maybe. But you're not well, and it's early winter already. This place is dangerous even for me, and I've spent the better part of six months up here.

[She glances back at Cordelia and Eiji, giving them hopeful look. Help, please?]

Seriously, if you're going out to train, especially this high up...at least have the sense to come with one of us. At least till you've recovered some. Cordelia's right, you need rest right now.

[Turning back to him, her eyes soften slightly.]

I know as well as anyone what it's like to be stuck in one place when you wanna be doing something else, but we don't want to lose you again. Please take the physical therapy a little slower.

One of the most important things about traveling is knowing when to take a break.

[Which is the entire reason he's even been here as long as he has.]

That said- sometimes it doesn't do a person well to go out on their own. Especially without telling someone. If you remember Martin, that's exactly what I did a year ago- and in the process I hurt a great deal of people close to me who had gone on to think I'd died in the wilds.

[Rei in particular comes to mind.]

I'm working on being better about that, so I will reiterate what Miss Yunna has said about how I would be ... pretty upset with you if you overdid it and died a second time. Training won't help a body if it's overdone- it'll just make things worse.

[He offers him a lopsided smile.]

If you want to go traveling when you're healed, I'd be more than willing to help.

[There were at least two den mothers in this pack, and Cordelia really didn't feel like being a third. She wasn't good at it, to be honest, so instead, she nodded.]

[Martin just quietly stands up and starts collecting his things while Boar and Tiria float in, ready to go when he is.

Glancing back at Cordelia, Yuuna gestures to the Dragonite smiling happily into the cave.]

Suzume can do it. She's a good bit bigger than Swanna and I have Hoyo to get me home. It'd probably be best for him to go with her, just to keep him warm. With winter being what it is, I don't want him out too long.

[She starts to open her medical kit, pulling out some of those hand/foot warming packs and passing them to Eiji, Martin, and Cordelia.]

Take these and stick em in your boots and gloves. They'll help keep you warm on the way down.

Whenever you're ready, Martin, let's get you warmed up.

[He blinks at Yuuna and offers her a bow.]

[Those will go in his boots. Cold is less of a problem with him, but it doesn't hurt to be careful! On the subject of travel.]

Perhaps Miss Cordelia and I could act as an escort, then? To make sure none of the wild Pokemon on the way get any funny ideas about stopping us.

Still, he goes to get on the assigned Pokemon. His team files in around him.]

[Those that can't fly are spoiled for choice. Aerodactyls, Golurk, and Braviary are all prepared to taxi.

Yuuna hops up into a heavy looking basket on the Golurk's back and the Iron Giant nods.]
