[Still chiding and telling him she's started a feed, she obeys. Martin comes into view--he's in a cave of sorts. He looks...pretty sick. Boar and his Misdreavus are off to the side, giving him Looks while a Swinub cuddles in Martin's lap.]

I...this is embarrassing, but I seem to have pushed myself too much and can't make it back to Union right now. I will be fine, but it may take me a few days to get back. [Boar starts in about how of course he pushed himself too far, he didn't even take a week off before going traveling, training non stop for a week, and hiking to the highest part of the mountain he could feasibly get to. Does he want to die twice?

So...please, don't worry. I'll be fine.

It's very easy to get bad frostbite without realizing it... We have a lot of people coming in from the mountain who are badly hurt.

The Rangers should send someone to you if you can't get off the mountain right now.

I have at least three of my very angry friends coming to get me. But really, I have the material for a fire and supplies. I'd've been fine.

Being out there alone can be dangerous sometimes - all kinds of things could happen.

Fire is OK, but people can still get frostbite even with one if the conditions are bad. And it's getting into winter now... There was a lot of commotion on the mountain last year.

I have very thick winter wear...though I really should have found a Fire-type before coming here.

It's very good for thinking and bonding with your Pokémon...assuming they're not nagging you, anyway.

Not from this spot, but from others you can sort of make it out. Your Mareep is eating your sweater, by the way.

Oh - I think he's teething. ...I've already lost a few that way.

[He will hug Mareep a little tighter so it can't reach around.]

I've only ever been to the plains in the northeast. It'd be a little exciting to go somewhere where you couldn't see any part of Union at all.

Wouldn't a rubber teething toy be better for him?

[The kid is obviously...well, a kid, so Martin doesn't ask why he hasn't ever come to the mountains. It is pretty risky.]

He just hatched a few months ago, actually, so... he's still pretty young.

Can you wear Mareep wool? I honestly have no idea.

Mm-hmm! You can make it into clothes if you have the right tools. We used to take care of lots of Mareep and we'd collect the wool every year.

I'm not very good, but I can try and make some warmer clothes for exploring the mountain if you'd like.

[by not very good, he means he is very terrible and martin should stay away from his idea of wearable clothing at all costs]

It's bad when people are up there... but extra bad if they're already not feeling well.

I feel fine! Just a little...worn, that's all. I've done more feeling worse.

I'm not sure if that's very reassuring, either.

I'd say that I'd stop bothering you so you can get some rest... but you probably shouldn't go to sleep until you at least have a fire.
