A Musical Practice

Who: The Love Live! Girls, anyone who lives at Hikawa Shrine, and anyone leaving and entering the shrine! And stalkers. There are stalkers.
What: Practice for performing on stage! Their first practice ever.
When: Sometime in the afternoon, after school is over.
Where: Hikawa Shrine, Union.
Summary: Honoka has finally managed to amass a group of people to get together as a little musical group to perform. They are going to try to practice together for the first time, and that could go any number of ways.

"Hello everyone!" She shouts once all the girls who she expected to come to practice arrive. "I wasn't sure where we could practice, but I'm so glad Rei let us come here and use the courtyard! So!"

She stands, feet at shoulder width, in front of the girls, looking determined as ever.

"We'll do some singing first! And after a little break, we'll try dancing! Someone will need to clap for us to keep time, but we can alternate who does that so everyone gets to practice dancing. And then! We can get something to eat when we're done! If there's someone you don't know, get to know them a little bit before we begin our practice!"

"Okay! Let's start!"

[ Maki's a little surprised to get a chocolate in her lap, but not mad. It's strange interacting with someone else in a shifter form, she's never really done it much herself. ]

Ah, thanks. Did you make it yourself? [ Just going to pop that in her mouth, her eyes lightening up a little at the taste. ]

W-Well...thanks..

[ Too many compliments, Maki can't hold them all! Seriously, she's not sure how to handle this at all, other than blushing slightly, and twirling her hair. It's her best defensive Move, up there with Light Screen or something. ]

I've danced a little, I've been learning in my spare time at the theater.

W-Well if you don't need me to teach you then you don't have to come over all the time, right?!

[ Maki yells back at her, but she doesn't even know why. ]

I'm already following that diet.

Do you think you can do the moves we're doing for our song?

[She looks over happily to the other girls, on their break. They looked like they were ready to get back at it again.]

[A certain bird can be spotted behind Honoka. She doesn't really need to follow since Honoka has the bribe candy already but she won't leave a comrade alone in a difficult mission.]

[She presents the sweets.]

We were just wondering if you wanted one-!

You are? You look really good, Umi.

[She inspects how good Umi looks, checking out her waist, shoudlers, legs... no homo!]

[ The Fletchling looks so proud of herself, straightening out her feathers with that compliment. A shiny swablu, complimented her! ]

Fletch! [ I was watching you sing! You're as good as Maki!

She's focused on Kotori, but isn't about to let her gift go wasted, thinking it's a gift for Yaya. So there might be a tussle over that macaroon!! ]

[It bounces back! Kotori pokes it again, easily entertained. She still smiles to the Murkrow once she arrives though.]

Oh, really? I didn't know you liked this kind of thing. Do you want to join practice?

[cutiepanther]

[ Maki puts her head in her hand, sighing. It's not Kotori that she's troubled with, it's her own teaching style. She's used to being tough on the other girls, but she knows that it's not helping Kotori. But it's hard to try and change so suddenly. ]

It's still too high.

[ Tail swishing behind her, Maki steps up in front of Kotori, touching the other girl's stomach with her finger. Her voice is a lot softer now, kinder, trying to drain it of it's usual snark. ]

You just need to relax more. Think of something you love... L-Like sweets, and close your eyes, and sign from down here.

[ Is that a challenge Honoka, because you should know that Maki can't help but rise to every slight challenge against her. ]

O-Of course I can!

[Bird and cat adventures may be closer than what Maki thinks, time will have to show her such. A Purrloin is small and light enough to be able to fly on top of this Swablu's back.]

I did! My original plan was bringing cake but the decorations would get ruined on the way so I made you some chocolate instead.

[She remembers the dream world events clearly after all.]

[A surprised sound leaves Kotori's mouth at the contact on her stomach, not that she seems particularly bothered by that. If anything skinship lets her relax a little.]

Would that be fine? Everyone tries to focus on music instead, so...

[Have you ever seen a Swablu's cheeks get rosy? now you have.]

I still got ways to go but Maki is a really good teacher!

[She is happy about getting complimented though and it shows.

A bird and a bug touch the macaroon at the same time... kinda. The Scatterbug's lack of hands means that he takes a bite out of it from the get go!]

[She smiles softly. Want to come dance, Maki?]

[Umi stares at the offered sweets for a moment.]

You said you were on the same diet! I wanna see how it worked for you!

[Your legs look good she's staring at them]

Yes! Everyone gets tired, and what better than a sugar rush?
