[The video on the warp band turns on with a bit of pecking and feathers, showing Nico, lined up with several of her pokemon - a Marill and Jigglypuff to each side, then outside of them her Skiploom and Shroomish. The location? The Flower Grove, which is despite the season, still enjoying full bloom, all pink and green just like her pokemon. Clearly, this was staged, and the reason why becomes clear]

Music... start!

[Some pre-recorded music starts and soon enough, Nico is singing and dancing to a (less electric guitar-heavy version of) this (click under Audio to listen). Her dancing and singing is light and energetic, but obviously she's been practicing it for a while. Her pokemon... well, Shroomish is doing well, but Skiploom and Marill seem to get distracted every now and then before remembering to dance along - and Jigglypuff seems to keep tripping over itself in nervousness. Still, they make it through the entire song without any major disasters and at the end they all pose.

Once the music fades out, Nico turns to her pokemon with a smile.]

See? You all did great!

[She kneels down to pet and praise them a bit before remembering the warp band, which she hurries over to.]

Hi~! Is this reaching all the way to everyone in Union? It's everyone's favorite Nico-ni~ I hope you liked my song, and now that I have your attention, I have an important question to ask...

[Reaching behind the camera she pulls out... what's clearly a masterpiece of crayon on construction paper.]

Has anyone seen one of these? Nico-ni's been searching for weeks now after hearing a rumor there was one here, but there hasn't been a single sign of it! You'd think it'd be easy to spot when everything else here is so pink...

[Action]

[And if anyone's visiting out by the Flower Grove, they might run into Nico - alternately taking snack breaks with her pokemon, practicing singing and dancing or, y'know, actually searching for pokemon like she came here to do - sneaking through the underbrush, crawling through the grass, climbing trees, all that stuff. And probably looking pretty silly doing it.]

Don't worry, I'll let you lead! Hopefully I got the steps down right.

[Walking over, she moves besides Hanayo and a step behind so she can be out of the way of her pokemon and see most of them from this side as she follows them.]

Okay. One more time, then.

[Hanayo taps her foot to establish the beat, looking to her Pokemon and nodding. And once everyone is in place, she starts the number off again from the top.]

[Nico follows along, a few parts in it on her mind and how she'd do them. She realizes some are because it feels easier or doesn't seem as awkward from this side, while others just need some tightening up. Other parts, she's putting too much in just so all her pokemon have a part it feels like. She knows she's messing up a few steps herself but that wasn't really the point of doing this]

Hmm, okay, I think that gives me a better idea of where you're coming from.

So? What do you think we can do to improve it?

Okay, well... I think at this part- [And then she probably went on talking for about twenty minutes straight about her ideas] -you know what I mean? Like, it might feel more natural to turn like this, [she demonstrates] but if you do it like this [and again] then it looks better to the audience and you can face them more without turning away.

Oh... like this, then?

[Hanayo does the turn, although it's a little bit slower. She's been having issues with her glasses staying on that she wants to correct for.]

Hmm, you want to move your right foot a bit more like this but that's basically it. Trust me, it looks way better to the audience.

[She tries it again.]

Like that?

[And just for the heck of it, she throws in a little flourish with her hand.]

Yeah, yeah! That's cute!

[Nico is clearly enjoying getting to ~~boss her around~~ teach]

What do you think about my Pokemon?

They're really cute~ [Wait that probably wasn't the question] I mean, I think they still have to refine their technique, but I like how their individuality comes out in their use of skills. I think it's just a matter of polishing it so it flows together more smoothly.

I tried to train them so that they all bring something different to the show, but I don't really know how many of them is too many to perform with me.

Yeah, I kind of debate on that myself... You might be able to have five or six dancing, but not all doing different things...

Only some of them know how to dance, though... the others work more like musical instruments.

I guess that's one way to organize it? Yeah, that could work out... I hadn't thought of having them do the accompaniment like that!

I thought it would be a cute idea, using moves like Belly Drum to make music instead.

Yeah, it's pretty neat. I think it might need a bit more work before you use it with your dancing as well, but it would definitely set things apart.

Maybe you could help us put together a new routine after we've practiced more.

Yeah, definitely! We could definitely try out some different things here.

There's so much to work on... singing, dancing, appeal... it's a lot to keep track of. But I've never had more fun than this.

Right? It's a lot of work but there's no other feeling like it.
