[Open] Stop Hoboing!
Who: Yu Narukami and Union
What: Someone's sleeping in the park.
When: 11/9: after midnight
Where: One of Union's parks
Summary: Yu came to Union to find himself. What he forgot to find was a place to stay. Cue camping out like a bum!
He obviously didn't prepare for one thing as he came to the City of Union: a place to sleep or stay. Obviously planning this was not in the picture but he did have an idea of what he needed to do. And he also had a tent.
Izanagi on the other hand had to wonder if his friend was alright in the head due to the human actually being alright with sleeping outside; he didn't have fur like him and it was a little cold in this place. But Yu reassured him that it was only temporary until they could find a place to stay. Which meant that it might take a bit before he could find a job and earn some more money. Besides, it was a park. Nothing much happened in a park at nighttime and if there was, they were prepared.
Somewhat.
But this night, Yu was unable to sleep and decided to sit outside of the tent and look up at the sky. When was the last time he saw a view like this?

Which was easy for him to say, fresh off of a workout and astride a horse with a mane made of fire.
"...So what are you doing?"
no subject
Which technically is kind of saying that he didn't have a place to stay. But it wasn't bad really, having to camp on the way to Union at times. You know, before having to hitch a ride.
no subject
"Like, in the park?"
Not that he didn't have his own fair share and then some of odd ideas, so perhaps he shouldn't be judging.
no subject
"I don't know anyone really here so I don't mind doing it."
no subject
That was really interesting, actually! Feliks had always been curious about the outside world, and still was, even now. He slipped down off of his Rapidash, and planted himself on the ground by Yu.
"You don't know anybody? So like, that means you're new, right? Where'd you come from?"
no subject
All three questions answered in one sentence; it's a new record.

He just got a little burned out on talking to nobles, honestly. His grandparents were starting to make a fuss about it, so he'd probably start going again, soon...
no subject
"I'm not sure. I think it was a charity ball...and the only reason I went was because of my friend."
And as he said 'friend', his face is staring straight at Izanagi, who just shrugged.
no subject
"So, your friend's a party animal? Jadwiga here gets way freaked out around crowds."
He nods towards the Gardevoir. It hasn't quite crossed his mind that that might be half because she's a psychic type and there's too many people, and half because she's a psychic type especially attuned to him and he's scared of strangers.

Case in point: a girl paid more attention to his Eevee than himself and Yu was fine with it. Izanagi on the other hand just ended up putting on his sunglasses again, his human friend just staring at him.
"It's dark out, you don't need to wear those."
And Izanagi raspberried him back in reply. Snarky little mon.
no subject
"It's a good look for you, don't listen to him! Fashion has no master, right?"
He gave Yu a small grin as he straightened back up. "Have you known him for a long time? I think they get pushier about trying to help you out when you have."
no subject
"We've been friends since I was eight. I raised him from a baby."
It was one of those times that Yu could be proud of himself; he had a friend who didn't judge him and liked him for himself. And that was why he could be so...normal around him.
no subject
"That might be even longer than I've known this girl here! You must be way close."
no subject
Izanagi chirped and wiggled his ears, trying to be rather cute and get some more attention, to which Yu gave him another pet.
"He got attacked by some bird pokemon and I got in their way. We've stayed with each other ever since. What about you and your friends?"
Pokemon are friends to him. Just roll with it.
no subject
"Well, it's like, I never liked bullies, right? Even before I was Enlightened, and especially not ones who pick on Pokemon! So I guess you could say the way we met wasn't too different." He wasn't all that big or physically strong even now -- as a ten year old, he'd had nothing but his brashness and his stubbornness to defend her with. "As for these guys -- I met Mieszko out near Caldera, when we were going to answer their distress call. My friend met Jove there, but they weren't working out, so I took him off her hands! And this is Krystyna, I met her when I was exploring under the city. And Huzar! I hatched her, she's kinda my baby."
He gestured in turn to the Gardevoir, the two Rapidashes, and the Ninetales, but before he could point to the Dragonair, she was wrapping around him with the air of an affectionate child. He's her mom, in spite of any and all attempts to explain basic biology to her!
no subject
Again during the seige, he was protecting the pokemon and kids more than fighting on the front lines.
"I did see one girl from here there before but didn't many others." He added as he watched the dragonair wrap around him.
"Hey, I never got your name."
no subject
He scratched behind the Dragonair's ear-fins, smiling up at Yu.
"Like, we heard some pretty weird stuff about Gigas from Team Evolution, so we weren't about to let them beat up on you like that!
"Anyway, I'm Feliks Ćukasiewicz! Just Feliks is cool. What about you?"
no subject
"I'm Yu Narukami, it's nice to meet you." His introduction was a little more stiff and formal but that was due to where he was born. But there was an effort made at least.
no subject
Feliks was high enough in social status that he ought to have been more formal. It had just never taken, to his grandparents' eternal dismay.
"Nice to meet you, too!"
no subject
He reached in the tent and pulled out a bag of pokepuffs, offering them to the pokemon. "Is it okay to give them some?"
no subject
"Sure, go for it! Krystyna isn't big on the sweet ones, but they're mostly not picky."
