[It's been a while since this particular face has appeared on the Warp Band feed. Those that know him might notice that he appears to be freshly showered, and he's holding a cup of coffee in his hands.]

Hello, everyone! Long time, no see. Though I'm afraid that's my fault -- you see, the council entrusted me with a few...projects, shall we say? Anyway, these projects pretty much sapped my time entirely, so I ultimately fell off the radar.

But those are done now, so I have some time to spare once again! For those who didn't meet me the first time around, the name's Jayce, and my discipline is science. I've already invented and patented quite a few things that have begun to see use around Union, and I'm ready and willing to take on personal projects! Just let me know what you'd like done, and we can, ah...hammer out the details.

Yes. There have been quite a few incidents as of late.

Indeed. So far, I've been fortunate that my work hasn't been affected. Well, once, but that happened before we even knew about Team Evolution.

Ah, guess you showed up after them. They're a group of people, mostly from Gigas, who try to use Pokémon for their personal ends. They don't relate to them like we do here in Union.

...I see. They do sound like a nasty bunch, I have heard of Gigas before but not much.

They sound like a sorry bunch.

For what it's worth, they did help negotiate a ceasefire between Caldera and Gigas. They deserve recognition for that, if nothing else, but their goals still make them suspicious.

At least they aren't all bad, then. I still think it goes without saying that they can't be trusted.

Absolutely. You won't get an argument on that front from me. It's just something to take into account when dealing with them. Given the chance, I'd rather negotiate a peace agreement than go to war, especially after the last time humanity got involved in one.

I have yet to experience conflict of a large scale but I imagine it to be devastating.

The same is true for all of us. But the proof that it happened is all I need to want to avoid repeating history.
