With war almost upon us, we must all do our best to become the absolute strongest that we can. Unfortunately, I have not been able to train as much as I would like, on account of my strength makes it difficult to spar with someone without the risk of serious injury if I don't carefully hold back.

It never seemed terribly pressing when we were more or less at peace, but now I need to ask. Are there any of you who want to train with me who are tougher than an ordinary human?

[Action]

A few days before the operation to save Sanctuary began, Morgiana has done a crash course to help get herself back in shape. She wasn't ever exactly OUT of shape, but her months spent in Union have left her slightly less hard bitten and deadly than she had been as a servitor. All that friendship and understanding and regular meals really takes the edge off of a warrior.

And so, after making her offer/challenge to the warp band network, she spent her afternoon in a small dirt field not far beyond the walls that she frequently used for training in relative privacy, waiting for would be opponents. While she waited, she practiced punches, aided by the massive stone weights strapped around her wrists. Gultas, her Pangoro friend and ally, stood by her and matched her motions. Though the pokemon was easily two or three times the size of the fanalis, he was probably the weaker of the two.

[The video comes up on Chibiusa looking thoughtful. And slightly upset. She doesn't say anything for a long moment. Then finally she sighs and crosses her arms.]

Everyone says I'm too young to help out with the stuff going on, even though my Pokemon are just as strong as anyone else's. But just 'cause I'm younger I've gotta stay here even when there's really important stuff to do! [She pouts briefly, but then her expression turns more resigned.] But I guess it's too late to really change anyone's mind right now. I wanna help though! So I was thinking, is there anything that those of us staying home can do to help? Either to help people get ready to go, or that we can do to be ready for when people get back?

I just really, really want to help somehow.

1) Late Morning - Union Divine Theater Courtyard

[Over the past month or so, the theater courtyard has become more or less home to a few of Right's Pokemon - namely, his three Plant-types and Usopp the Pidove. Today, however, Right's out with his faithful Lucario, Soft Steel. Only...they're not just chatting and soaking up the sun. The two of them are sparring very intensely with each other, with most of Right's Pokemon gathered around to form the edge of their impromptu sparring ring. Of course, sometimes it gets so intense that it looks more like fighting than actual sparring to the untrained eye. Come check up on them?]

2) Early Afternoon - Theater Wardrobe Department

[Right's had some basic training on sewing, which he normally uses these days to patch up any tears in his outfits. At this moment, however, he's trying to repair the ripped seam of his travel bag. Trying being the keyword here, for as much as he's trying to focus, the needed stitch isn't quite working out the way it should. It probably doesn't help that he's constantly shifting in his chair, or that he appears to be more full of energy than usual.]

--Damnit! Why can't I get this right?!

3) Union Market Area

Anastasia~! [Right whines as he's trailing behind his Mankey, carrying boxes and bags full of Pokemon food - most of it very high-end stuff.] Can't you just mix in some of the normal stuff?

Mankey-key! [Don't be ridiculous! I'm not gonna be left stuck eating some normal treats! Anastasia snorts in contempt at a pile of "common" (yet very juicy-looking) apples before hopping over to the stall full of tropical fruit.]

Veni-veni? [At least I don't need to be picky to look pretty, right? The Venipede inquires from her perch on top of Right's head.]

Thankfully, yeah. You're still cute no matter what you eat, Claudia. [Right grins reassuringly...and then sighs as he's called over by the pig-monkey to buy even more expensive food for the latter. As he moves over to her, however, he almost doesn't see anyone crossing his path until it's nearly too late.

Careful, or you'll get accidentally bumped by a walking pile of expensive food stuff!]

1. Action, around Union in the general vicinity of Gilgamesh Wulfenbach's Workshop

Throughout the day, a duo (and by duo we mean "pretty much only Ezreal") have been moving back and forth between the workshop and any number of other areas. He can usually be seen carrying large and rather heavy looking loads of scrap. Ancient Golem the Tyranitar, Dragon the Charizard and Vilemaw the Metagross have unfortunately also been conscripted to assist, and none of them seem to be in a particularly good mood about that, judging by the low, constant stream of bitching and swears coming from Ezreal's mouth as he carries and inevitably drops the large pallets

2. Action, inside Gilgamesh Wulfenbach's Workshop

Later that night, the door has been flung open, likely due to the immense heat emanating from the workshop. Ungodly sounds, banging, clanking, drilling, and the occasional explosion can be heard, as well as the occasional explosion of human voices

"No you can NOT set the drill frequency that high! You'll melt the rock straight into the cockpit you moron!"

3. Video

Gilgamesh stood before a massive, vaguely cylindrical shape under a cloth cover. He cleared his throat before speaking.

"If we are to be fighting underground, then we should take heed to remember that our battles are not limited to a mere two dimensions. Nor should we limit ourselves to the tunnels that already exist. To that end, I have built a device that will offer our forces considerable tactical advantage. BEHOLD!"

He ripped aside the covering to reveal what looked like a giant metal can, with a horrifying array of drill bits attached to one end and spiked tank treads running along the sides.

"My tunneling engine is fully capable of boring through ten yards of solid granite in an hour, allowing us to strike at Gigas's forces from just about anywhere in the tunnel network. The main compartment holds up to six people. And if the passengers are carrying some of Ms. Ryuuko's pokeballs, that can turn into a sizeable raiding party quite quickly.

With the power of SCIENCE on our side, Gigas' defeat is inevitable!"
