First Punch [Video/Action]

That was Harima's first thought when he left the school that afternoon and found no one waiting for him. After a certain incident several weeks ago, a certain Swinub who was no longer allowed in the building had taken to waiting for him just outside of the front door, using the long afternoons to nap in the warm sun. He had to admit that he was jealous of the little Pokemon sometimes....

How he wished he could lead such a carefree life.

Snorting in irritation, he slung his bag over his shoulder and looked around the school yard for the hairy little troublemaker.]

Napoleon?

[He called-- then swore under his breath. That little shit...]

[It was getting close to evening when the video feed clicked on, revealing a scowling young man in dark sunglasses and an elegant looking young woman next to him.]

Hey, if anyone's seen a Swinub and an Espurr wandering around the city, let us know. They go by the names Napoleon and Iori, and they're probably together.

[He looked away from the camera, briefly tipping up his shades to rub the bridge of his nose in frustration.] Let's hope they're not making any problems for us... [he grumbled. At this point the girl chimed in:]

We really are worried, so if you've seen them please tell us.

[You. Yeah, you right there, the one who has that lovely plate of food sitting on the table in front of you. There is a rather stealthy Swinub spying on you....

Or, namely, your dinner.

Anyone and everyone who happens to be have some food on them will have a little Swinub shaped shadow following them, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Sometimes he will look up at you with sad eyes begging for a taste of your delicious meal; other times he will try to steal a few bites the moment you look away.

The Espurr hanging around nearby has nothing to do with any of this. Stop looking at him like that.]

Hey everyone! Maya Fey here, master of the Kurain Channelling School.

[She flashes the camera a grin. Shinrei and Shiyon are behind her. Shinrei, who evolved last week, seems to be a very happy haunter. Shi, however, seems stoic as usual.]

So, it looks like what's been working really well recently has been, um, me just doing video calls and letting you consult me!

If you're unfamiliar, the Kurain Channelling School is a school located at the Fey Manor in Ninetails Vale, the Northwestern District. We're mostly a school for Kurain family members to learn channelling, which means that we can perform ghost-channelling sessions for you if you request it.

Um, but most of you guys would rather have help with your ghosts, right? Well, we offer training sessions with ghost and psychic types for all types, aaand we also can help train your ghosts or psychic types, or come see you if you are having a ghost-related problem.

We're pretty flexible too, so just ask.

Just so you know, we're open Mondays through Thursdays and are mostly available early morning or evening. We tend to sleep through the mid-day. [A ghastly little chuckle, and her two ghosts giggle with her.]

[ACTION; COASTAL RUINS for Kuzuryuu Fuyuhiko]

[It had been an investigation just to go and figure out these suspicious ghosts they'd heard of-- Yamask. Now, Kuzuryuu and Maya had found themselves bonded with two of their own. Since Kuzuryuu is a lower level, Maya had to accompany him. But she also wanted to. She very much wanted to. Ghosts.

They can't be that difficult to deal with, can they?

Now as they finish their explorations, Maya isn't so sure. There's something off about hers (not that she didn't expect there to be, given a yamask's nature, but she hasn't voiced her suspicions.

With Shinrei, Chikao, and Bozu walking with her and with Peri and Shi attuned to her warp band, she figures there's very little to worry about. Her still-unnamed yamask saunters beside her, quiet and strange, but does little do disturb conversation between the rest.]

Sooo, that was fun.

[Crossing her arms behind her back, Maya leans forward to look Kuzu in the face as they walk side-by-side.]

And you got some training in. Pretty good deal, huh?

[Action 1 - Park]

[Any trainers or Pokemon happening by one of Union's parks today will be greeted with what is probably a somewhat confusing sight.  There is a small table set up, with a Smoochum and a Gothita sitting behind it.  In front of each of them is a clipboard with a sheet of paper containing a numbered list - a sign-up sheet of some sort?  And flapping around rather enthusiastically above it all is a Swoobat, trailing a banner behind it with a cartoon representation of Merrill's face surrounded by hearts.

The Smoochum and Gothita aggressively wave down any passersby, pointing at the banner and chattering excitedly while shoving the clipboards at them.  Kindred Souls and Children of the Verdant Forest will immediately be able to tell this for what it is - they're signing their trainer up for blind dates.  For anyone else, it may take a bit of figuring out, but these Pokemon are going to do their best anyway.  As far as they're concerned, Merrill isn't the type that can really afford to be choosy.]

[Action 2 - you choose where!]

[Merrill had a slight inkling that something was up when she saw her Pokemon preparing all of this, but decided to leave them to their devices.  But even after finding out, she's too conscientious to turn down any of the dates they signed her up for.  Embarrassed and awkward as she is, she'll show up at the appointed place and time to meet whoever was actually taken in by all of this ridiculous fanfare.]

((OOC: Feel free to tag either or both of these as you prefer - Action 1 is for shenanigans getting signed up for the dates, and Action 2 is for threading the actual date part out.  You can feel free to tag the first, handwave the date, and work out the details with me if you like, or tag the second one directly, assuming that they stopped by earlier and the Pokemon signed them up.  Merrill's Pokemon won't turn anyone away in the end, so have fun with it!))
