Now here's one for the books.
[So. See this face here? (This completely innocent face - who's fooling anyone?) There might just be a few differences from last time it appeared around town.
The white stripe in his lengthened hair, the piercing yellow eyes, those changes are rather mundane. The pointed ears, and more notably, the wing-like 'patch' covering (replacing?) his missing eye, a spot more than that.
Barely on camera, a Murkrow looks a bit put out.]
You see, my dear companion and I'd decided it was time to see her evolve. A bird's got to spread her wings, after all.
Turned out, there was a little surprise in store for us both.
[Braig raises a hand - hovering delicately above it is a used Dusk Stone.
The Murkrow looks even grumpier.]
I'd barely got it out of the box, and before I could give it to her, it seemed I was getting a new look instead.
So, a little question! How often does this happen? There are some quirky Pokémon evolutions out there, but I've never heard too many stories about the same happening for people. Where training just ... isn't enough, hmm?
