[The camera is pointing at Ace's face, and he's looking a bit distressed]

So... Something happened

[He moves, and something can be seen hiding behind a table in the distance, and whenever Ace tries to get closer the little pokémon just runs away. At one point the pokémon stops in front of the camera, and it can be seen that is an Oddish, who looks terrified.

This happens around three of four times, and Ace just gives up and sits down in front of the camera again]

Since he came home he's been avoiding me, I thought it was because I'm a fire type, but he's talked to Lava and Candle, so I have no idea what's wrong

[the Oddish just looks from behind a chair and glares]

[ The recording opens up to a little girl with red eyes and a red necktie holding a Budew in her arms. It looks curiously into the warpband, Ib gives a polite nod and a quick smile to anyone watching this. She couldn't wave or properly curtsy while holding a Pokemon. ]

Does anyone have some advice?

Bu.

[ She looks down at her Budew which is looking back up at her. ]

... Please. We're new. [ To training, she means. ]

( As an action option you're free to meet her around town or out in the woods while she attempts some training or bonding. )

[So here's Sollux again, in the company of a Beedrill, both of them staring into the Warp Band - Sollux looking impassive as usual, and the Beedrill humming with excitement.]

I'm starting up a little project, and I'm gonna need some help.  If you're into tech and shit and you're not afraid of bees - or I guess if you just feel like hanging out with me for some reason - come find me in the forest.

[Action]

[And just like he said, all throughout the week Sollux can be found out in the Verdant Forest.  In one particular location in the western side of the forest, anyone who looks for him will eventually find him hanging out near a nest of Weedle, Kakuna, and Beedrill.  One Beedrill in particular is hovering rather close to him, and the others seem cautious but nonviolent.  He's currently harvesting honey, royal jelly, and a third substance that he seems to be getting directly from the antenna and mandibles of the Beedrill themselves - that one is being collected with special care so as to avoid becoming a human pincushion.

Alternatively, he can be found in various other locations throughout the forest, being followed by his Beedrill and several Weedle at any given time.  Anyone who catches him later in the week may also find him riding on the back of a Girafarig.  He appears to just be scouting around for a good location for... well, something, anyway.  Every so often he stops and looks around, glancing up into the trees and into bushes before moving on.  His Beedrill also periodically flies into the treeline, coming back every so often and buzzing at him about something or other.  It's clear that he and his Pokemon are indeed busy little bees this week, but to what end?]

I've submitted our findings to the university for study, but I thought that throwing out a wider net might be helpful.

[The camera turns off for a moment, while a short video plays over the feed.

It's a bit hard to see due to the lighting, but displayed is a large stained glass windows, featuring a star-shaped Pokemon at the center.

The feed stops after about a minute, and is then replaced by quick snapshots of what appears to be an altar, although to what god is hard to say. Parts of it appear to be ransacked.

These then fade to video, this time of a large room, with a large mural. This, instead, depicts a great flood. Pokemon and people are present, but seem to be on opposite sides.

It switches back to live feed.]

Ezreal, Quinn, Yang and I found all of this while exploring the Mausoleums. I'm not sure how deep they extend, but we were pretty far in when we came across it. I managed to get a transfer of the plaque by the main mural, and Quinn got some wonderful sketches that the University are currently going through. I couldn't get copies of her sketches, of course, but I did manage to get this.

[The camera adjusts, and written very neatly is a copy of the writings she got from the plaque, on parchment.]

I can't for the life of me read it, but it's absolutely fascinating. I thought maybe someone here might be able to help decipher it.

Needless to say, the area we were in has been cordoned off as a historical sight for further review, but I'm hoping that they'll open it up soon to the public. I'd love to see it again under better lighting. I've always believed that knowledge should be a communal thing, so I do hope that they make this public. Unless people decide to loot this area too, like they did the altar.

Anyway, the writing, does anyone have any knowledge of old script? The scholars have had this at the University for a few weeks now, and while that obviously isn't enough time to have any kind of definitive answer, I thought maybe, if we all put our heads together, we could help the process along a bit. Any ideas, anyone?

[PRIVATE; TO BANZU]

Hey, Mr. Banzu? I got the egg you wanted. Did you want to meet outside the Breeding Center to get it?

[OPEN; ACTION]

[Outside the Breeding Center, Guertena seems none the worse for wear for his brief paternity leave, back to painting thankfully water-soluable murals all over the place. Hiroshi sits, holding the egg in his lap and marveling over it. Strange how there's still no real indication of how or why Pokemon get eggs...[

Careful, Guertena. You know how the guards get if you're too ostentatious about that.

[Guertena snorts. He got 99 problems and guards ain't one. He does paint one on the wall however.]
