[A small sigh prefaces the very serious, just-on-this-side-of-shy voice.] I know other people have said this -- probably better than I will -- but just as an extra reminder for all those permitted to leave the city -- [Bitter? Him? Never!] -- make sure to wear lots of layers of thick clothing, even if it's unfashionable. Rougher, woollier fabric helps insulate heat. [It's funny because this kid has no idea what is and isn't fashionable.] Something around your lower legs to keep snow from getting into your boots and melting would also be good.

[A pause, the rustle of some papers.] -- oh, and don't forget about your Pokemon friends! Especially those who are more vulnerable to snow and cold, like Fire or Fairy types. I'm sure the shops have smaller warm things, if your friend is willing to put up with a woolly hat. I know mine wouldn't but -- ow! Don't poke me! Stop that!

[Brief sounds of scuffling and a couple more squeaks of pain from Armin, then a hasty:] Also be sure to keep those of us stuck inside updated on what's going on and be safe and good luck and -- no pinching!

Calling all Rangers, Delvers, and anyone outside freezing to death!

So, we can all agree this iron thing pretty much sucks, and there's a lot of you that are going out into the wild to brave hypothermia and frostbite to get us some more.

Us at the Union Divine Theater just want to let you guys know how much we appreciate what you're doing. In fact, we appreciate you guys so much that we're opening our doors to anyone coming and going for a little weather relief!

Starting at around noon, the theater will be open with warm food, drinks, and a show to anyone coming back in from the cold. Now you guys literally have no excuse to get hurt out there.

The show we'll be preforming is going to be The Promise. The tragic tale of two lovers torn apart by their societal obligations when they are forced to marry entirely different people to please their families! The romance! The intrigue! We will also be providing tissues.

Also, don't think that the theater is closed off from anyone else! Anyone in the city is welcome to come by! We will be taking donations for the mine hunting effort so any contribution that can be made would be really cool!

Anyway, that's about it! If you've got any questions let me know. Otherwise I will see you all at the show!

[OOC: Another post is going to go up right after this for the actual mingle log and stuff! DON'T BE ALARMED BY THE DOUBLE POST.]

Anyone going outside the city... please be careful, and make sure you and your Pokemon are properly protected.

[To most people, this would probably mean 'wearing a big fluffy coat and scarf' or 'making sure you have an emergency kit.'  Jinxie is not most people.]

I have charms against freezing, charms to keep you from getting lost in the forest, charms to prevent your socks from getting wet...

[She'll go on like that for a little while.  You get the picture.]

[Action - Forest Shrine]

[It probably isn't the wisest thing Jinxie could have done, but she's worried about the iron shortage too, and she feels like she needs to help in any way she can.  The Forest Shrine isn't always the safest place to be, especially in dangerous weather conditions, but Jinxie always feels at peace there.  Her trusty Duskull is with her too, so she feels a little more at ease.  Maybe she'll be able to find something special around here that will help out with the city's problems - if not something she can make into a new charm, then maybe a Pokemon that can help.]

Let's pray for guidance, Dokuro.

[And she approaches the stone altar with all due reverence, bowing her head before pressing her hands together in silent prayer.  Dokuro the Duskull follows suit, its red eyes slipping shut as it floats beside Jinxie's head.]

[Action - Old City]

[Once she's back from the Forest Shrine, Jinxie decides to take a look in Old City to see if she can find anything the salvage teams might have overlooked.  Again, it's not that likely, but her desire to help is sincere, and now she's got the help of the Foongus she bonded with at the shrine.]

Be careful, you two.  Here, wear these, they'll protect you.

[Digging two handmade charms out of her pockets, Jinxie applies one each to the foreheads of her Pokemon before they venture down into the tunnels.]

[So it's really cold outside. It's really cold and a lot of you have been running around trying to find a mine. Well, at least there's one place that's guaranteed to let you kick back for a second and recharge. Besides how can you say no to free food?]

[Welcome to the Union Divine Theater.]

[ooc: FEEL FREE TO MAKE YOUR OWN THREADS TOO.]

[Voice - BACKDATED TO THE 10TH because I am slow but mister mom here is not]

To all Delvers being called out to assist in the search - stay warm, stay well-rested, and don't do anything hasty. We want to see you return as whole as you were when you left. And if any of you need additional supplies, come see me and I'll do what I can.

Good luck and Gods'-speed to everyone out there.

[Action - ALSO BACKDATED]

[Ondorus trusts that Delvers know where the Historians' offices are, so he's making himself available the whole day in his own.

..."Making himself available", of course, means aggressively reorganizing his files in an attempt not to fret while left to his own devices. It isn't working too well, but his shelves have never been so neat. His Ralts, Star, is lying on his desk, flipping through a book, and looks up when the door opens.]

[Action - this one's on the 12th tho]

[Agnostos Temple may not be the cool and happening place to be, but then Ondorus is not particularly cool or happening. He is still fretting over everything, though, so he makes an impromptu stop at the temple to pray for his associates' safety.

He leaves a coin at the feet of almost every icon and idol, only skipping the clearly destructive ones, and takes a moment to kneel at a few that feature leaves or draconic coils.

Hopefully nobody was waiting on him (or is waiting for their turn).]

I have a question for everyone. Where have people searched for mines, exactly? They have to be out there somewhere, but it might be better to start checking places off.

Like everyone's said before, if you do choose to go out, please be careful, it's cold out there! If you need somewhere to warm up, think about coming to the Union Divine Theater. We'll have our doors open most of the day, and will be offering warm food and drinks to help ward off the cold. We're also taking donations if you want to help, just let me know!

[ACTION; SCORCHED FOREST]

[Bundled up from head to toe, Sakura trudged through the snow, her Ralts by her side. Offering to take the Ensign with her, she had hoped that she would be able to find something of some use there. After searching for some time, however, she and Takeshi came up empty-handed.]
