Nico Nico San [Dream Event]

[Is Union's most ~~desperate~~ talented up-and-coming idol dreaming about life on the stage? Not tonight, she isn't... no, tonight's menu is a trio of fairy-type tales:]

[A. Cyndaquilla]

[Here's Nico, so covered in soot from working day in and day out that they compare her to a cynadquill (yet still the prettiest one around of course), lamenting her misfortune to be trapped in such a mean household.]

All day I work, yet even after everything I've done, they still won't let me go to the dance party! Boo hoo, won't anyone take me away?

[Those sure are some crocodile tears as she hams this up for what it's worth]

[B. The Knight, the Princess and the Dragon-Type]

[Out of the cave comes rumbling a fearsome Hydreigon, three heads snapping. Before them, their hapless sacrifice: a beautiful ~~idol~~ princess tied to a stake, no chance of escaping them!]

Kyaaa! Save me!

[Are you a gallant knight come to rescue her? Or perhaps a wizard or a rogue? But before she can be reached, the dragon turns on her and unleashes a powerful dragon pulse right at her, blasting everything away in harsh blue light! And all that remains is charred ashes... and Nico, standing completely unscathed?]

Haha, didn't you know dragons can never beat magic!

[Oh right, she's part fairy-type.]

Take this!

[That... that sure was a big, pink heart beam she shot at the Hydreigon... and it's super effective.

Did she really need a knight to begin with?]

[C. Queen of Darkness-types]

[And in a complete reversal of roles, have Nico, not in rags, not in torn princess dress, but in full ~~skanky~~ sexy leather with thigh-high boots and shoulder-length gloves that have all the material her tiny top and shorts don't ~~showing that she is the Etna of succubi as far as curves are concerned~~, sitting atop a huge, black throne in the flame lit hall. Completing the look are horns, wings, a tail and poor Kara, her murkrow, perched at her side, giving a few ominous caws while wondering why the heck does she have to play along with this?]

Now, kneel before me! Kneel, and I might spare you!

[Nico has the worst fantasies.]

[OOC: As a note, Nico may ~~finally~~ make use of some of her enlightened powers - as it stands, she can minorly/temporarily charm or otherwise emotionally manipulate people (think Charm or Fake Tears and the like).]

[She does a few poses, pretending to be scared of the dragon before shooting it with fairy beams again]

Is that all?

[She winks and turns the charm on full-blast - literally. There's even little hearts in her eyes as she fires a bit of her infatuating power at Maki... though given how well the girl knows her, and her personality, it might not even work.]

What's wrong with just being yourself, an idol or not?

[ Maki hasn't learned anything yet, but luckily she's got Nico around to teach her now. Those poses are cute, and Maki almost wonders how she'd look doing it. Not that she would admit that. ]

W-What are you talking about?

[ That kind of question just makes her embarrassed. What other reason would she help Nico? Because they are friends? Are they friends? Maki's not quite so good at knowing that, seeing how she grew up having none. ]

...Now what are you doing? [ So yeah, that power doesn't really work. Not yet anyway. ]

I just want to be whatever's cutest, that everyone adores!

[Wink wink, pose pose. She stops when she notices the lack of reaction though.]

Tch, you're no fun...

[Finally sending the dragon scurrying off back to its cave, she walks over to the redhead knight with a sigh.]

[ Of course as she is, and of what she knows about Nico, that sort of goal sounds childish and insincere. All Maki can do in response is sigh, and shake her head a little. ]

Good luck with that.

[ Though Maki is surprised by the girl's second reaction, confused at what she had even done to get that look from Nico. ]

W-What did I do!?

[She purses her lips as she glares at Maki a little more. Maybe it'll work at close range? She tries again, wink, pose and everything as she turns on the charm.]

[ Getting close like that? She better not try to kiss Maki!! ...Thought Maki wonders why she's thinking that at all.

And that comes out of her. It's so embarrassing and fake, how could anyone even think that's cute? D-Definitely not Maki, who's blushing now, twirling her hair almost enough to cause a fire from the friction. A smile almost threatens to come out, and she's obviously trying her best to stop it. ]

D-Do you really think that's going to work on me?

[It's certainly the last thing on Nico's mind; this is so much of a ridiculous game to her, that any idea of seriously romancing Maki doesn't even occur to her. Which is why she isn't even slightly embarrassed as she draws closer, batting her lashes and posing cutely for Maki]

Well, aren't you supposed to be my knight? I'm your princess, after all!

[In her mind, this is totally making fun of Maki and not flirting with her at all.]

[ Hey you can't blame Maki she's been kissed a lot lately! Even if it's only been by Chie, but it's still something weird to her! And getting all close to her like that, being cute and Charming her, how else is Maki supposed to react? ]

I-It's just a dream, t-this isn't even real!

[ Maki in bright red now, her hands balled up into fists at her side. ]

Maaa, I-I never said I was your knight or anyone else's!

[Nico snickers, clearly enjoying Maki's fluster.]

Yeah? Well, I don't see any other princesses is around... or do you already have one, huh?

[ Maki had gone from being a Princess being saved, to being a knight who isn't saving anyone. She's not quite sure she feels she fits either role so well. But it's Nico's strange demeanor that's getting to her most. ]

That's because it's your dream, would you ever let anyone else be a princess besides you?

A-And I don't have anyone like that..

Of course not!

[At least Maki understands that much. Much like Nico catches something off about her response]

...really?

See! You're only focused on yourself!

[ Maki crosses her arms over her breastplate, looking away from Nico. Totally a suave and handsome knight, yup. But then she takes a peek back at Nico. ]

W-Why are you looking me?

You really don't have anyone you'd rather be rescuing?

[A bigger smirk]

Or maybe you want to be the princess, huh?

What difference does it make to you?

[ Maki won't go so far as to throw Nico under a bus and tell her that she and Chie are kinda a thing (mostly because that's just embarrassing to her still) but she's not really happy about Nico treating her like this either. ]

I'd like to see you try and rescue me. [ This is supposed to be throwing it back in Nico's face, but that's not really a good comeback. ]

[She pouts a bit at Maki not rising to the bait.]

Yeah, well, why don't we?

[She snaps her fingers and the Hydreigon comes back out of its cave, charging at Maki at skirting a wide range around Nico as the princess scurries out of the way.]

[ How is summoning a giant dragon to chase Maki not rising to the bait?

But as soon as she sees that thing appears Maki screams, running away from the dragon. ]

W-W-Wait!!! Call it off!!

Whaaat? But if I do that, how am I supposed to rescue you?

[Y'know, the thing she... totally isn't making any effort to do right now as the Hydreigon floats Maki's way.]

T-Then come save me already!!

[ Maki is a singer, a muscian , and even sometimes a composer, but she most definitely not a knight material. She's already dropped her sword and soon ends up tripping over her own feet trying to get away from the dragon. ]

Nicooo!! [ She cries out her friends name with tears in her eyes unsure of what to do. ]

[Nico is almost doubled over trying not to laugh as she walks over]

I, snrrk, I'm coming!

[She finally ended up laughing out loud as she pointed a finger at the dragon and fired off another heart beam, which was enough to give it pause and serious consideration towards going back in the cave]

[ This is not okay Nico! It's not Maki's dream, she can't just conjure up a Chie to protect her! And she's definitely not the fighting type either.

When Nico is closeby though, Maki is just going to grab the girl's hand, obviously shaking, wiping any tears that might have fallen away. ]

T-That wasn't funny... [ And so she squeezes Nico's hand a little, though for what reason she doesn't know. ]

[Another glare is enough to send the dragon scurrying, before Nico turns her attention back to Maki, right as she grabs her hand.]

Ah... [She actually looked maybe just a little ~~sexy~~ cute like that... her cheeks redden a little as she ends up staring]

W, well, it's just a dream. I wouldn't have let anything bad happen.

[ Maki has a difficult time trusting Pokemon even still, something that Nico may or may not really know. She is good around friendly ones, but she's been attacked before when she was out with Nozomi and Eri, and was useless. Her teacher, from way back when had been attacked and turned Maki off from them completely. So having a dragon coming back at her in a dream or not, is still difficult for her.

And of course, she isn't trying to be cute. She's just scared. And squeezing Nico's hand more, but refusing to get up just yet. She really is a princess, knight-garb or not. ]

T-That's a separate issue! But I guess you still protected me..

[She forgets that a lot. She's so used to pokemon being part of every day life (well, maybe not dragons).

She's still succeeding at being cute.]

Huh? Oh, right, right! There, see? I could totally be your knight!

[Wait that sounds like something else]

I mean, if I wanted to.

[ It wasn't easy avoiding Pokemon growing up, but Maki just turned to her music instead of friends or anything else.

And most definitely, she wasn't used to people trying to be her prince, or knight, or any other romantic gesture like that. But Maki had no idea if Nico had seen her and Chie, and if she was talking about that or if she was just clueless. ]

Next time I see a dragon then I'll call you. Usually Knights are a little taller than you though.

Sh, shut up! Well, usually Princesses are a little nicer than you!
