[Here's Nico, so covered in soot from working day in and day out that they compare her to a cynadquill (yet still the prettiest one around of course), lamenting her misfortune to be trapped in such a mean household.]

All day I work, yet even after everything I've done, they still won't let me go to the dance party! Boo hoo, won't anyone take me away?

[Those sure are some crocodile tears as she hams this up for what it's worth]

[B. The Knight, the Princess and the Dragon-Type]

[Out of the cave comes rumbling a fearsome Hydreigon, three heads snapping. Before them, their hapless sacrifice: a beautiful idol princess tied to a stake, no chance of escaping them!]

Kyaaa! Save me!

[Are you a gallant knight come to rescue her? Or perhaps a wizard or a rogue? But before she can be reached, the dragon turns on her and unleashes a powerful dragon pulse right at her, blasting everything away in harsh blue light! And all that remains is charred ashes... and Nico, standing completely unscathed?]

Haha, didn't you know dragons can never beat magic!

[Oh right, she's part fairy-type.]

[That... that sure was a big, pink heart beam she shot at the Hydreigon... and it's super effective.

Did she really need a knight to begin with?]

[And in a complete reversal of roles, have Nico, not in rags, not in torn princess dress, but in full skanky sexy leather with thigh-high boots and shoulder-length gloves that have all the material her tiny top and shorts don't showing that she is the Etna of succubi as far as curves are concerned, sitting atop a huge, black throne in the flame lit hall. Completing the look are horns, wings, a tail and poor Kara, her murkrow, perched at her side, giving a few ominous caws while wondering why the heck does she have to play along with this?]

Now, kneel before me! Kneel, and I might spare you!

[Nico has the worst fantasies.]


[OOC: As a note, Nico may finally make use of some of her enlightened powers - as it stands, she can minorly/temporarily charm or otherwise emotionally manipulate people (think Charm or Fake Tears and the like).]

Wait a minute, why am I the knight here?!

[ Looking down at her own costume in this silly dream, Maki finds herself dressed like a knight, although more of a cute one than anything else. Her stomach is exposed, with a long blue skirt with light chainmail, and a sword in it's scabbard on her hips. She just was the other side of this equation, but now as the knight she's not sure she fits it any better. All she can do is complain at the moment. ]

A-And why do I have to save you!?

[Nico looks over from where she's blasting the poor dragon with big, pink heart beams.]

Huh? Did I say anything like that?

[Yes, Nico, yes you did.]

[ Maki shuffles forward, her armor clanking, still managing to be pretty in such a thing. ]

You just said "save me"! But you didn't even need anyone at all!

[A mysterious voice resounds through the household and is accompanied by mysterious pink light. Once the light dissipates a relatively familiar looking witch appears in front of the unlucky girl.]

Happiness will run away if you cry, you know.

[She's just. Cheerfully firing little heart beams from her fingertips to keep Hydreigon busy while she talks with Maki.]

[Wiping her non-existant tears away though, she turns to the newcomer - wait, doesn't she know this girl?]

[Nonetheless, scrubbing as directed... BEING NICO IS SUFFERING]

[Kotori puffs out her chest proudly.]

I'm your fairy godmother, of course! look, I have a magic wand and all.

[She waves the wand in question happily, clearly into the role. Nothing of this explains why she looks like a witch though.]

[Clap clap clap. Nico's suitably impressed, or at least willing to act that way for her fairy godmother.]

So you'll help me get to the dance?

[ Maki's seen more than one side of Nico by now after all. ]

[Her tone is a bit snappy. Eri's not necessarily in the best of moods, it seems]

[She does a few poses, pretending to be scared of the dragon before shooting it with fairy beams again]

[She winks and turns the charm on full-blast - literally. There's even little hearts in her eyes as she fires a bit of her infatuating power at Maki... though given how well the girl knows her, and her personality, it might not even work.]

[So it would seem. Even Nico stops her posturing for a moment]
