I've returned from my trip to the swamp, and it was...eventually successful.

[To prove her point, she holds up a shiny Skrelp, and it's a good thing she's wearing gloves, because it's drooling all over her hand.]

...is there anyone who has experience with a Pokémon with a drooling problem? He doesn't seem to stop.

Well, it hasn't eaten through my gloves or anything yet. It's a poison type though, so I really don't want to experiment with it.

Kaori enjoys it. Ren on the other hand...doesn't seem to want to do anything.

[And she's pretty good at it. Meanwhile, her Skrelp just makes a 'bleh' noise and releases another glob of poison drool. Umi looks grossed out.]

Maki Nishikino. She's a shifter, so she can talk to them more directly than we can communicate just with warp bands. She... can be helpful, sometimes.

I've spoken to her before. She seems decent enough.

Not really! I mean, sometimes we argue but... [More like: all the time] It's not like I can't get along with her.

It's not complicated [That makes it sound like they have some kind of relationship!] She's just a selfish brat but she's kind of okay and likes music and singing and stuff and she's kind of no good with pokemon but she's trying to get better I guess but I mean, really, who gets raised away from pretty much all pokemon like that, huh?

I, I know that... it just means she's still kind of skittish about that sometimes, that's all. It's not like it matters to me.
