Action:

[Honoka has made her way into various parts of the city, exploring it with her two pokémon. She's handing out the fruit off of Tropius's neck to anyone willing to take one. She also looks a little lost, and exhausted as she's just gotten into town not too long ago. She's been eating, but not what she wants to eat- and if you've got something tasty looking that isn't fruit, she's creepily staring at you, longing to have some herself. One little bite of that would be so great.

So much that she'll walk up to you and ask you where you got it after a time.]

[Now, after she's gotten a little bit to eat and sat down for a bit to rest from traveling, she turns the Warp Band on. The scene around her is of the sun starting to set, sitting on a park bench. Tropius is laying down next to the bench. Happiny sits in her lap, looking cheerful as ever, but tired.]

Hi! My name is Honoka, and I know none of you may know me yet but I have a favor to ask. I just got here from Caldera, and I don't have a place to stay yet... and I don't want to live out on the street! I would just need a few days, I promise I'll have something set up by then!

I really like bread and rice, but I'll eat just about anything! Afterwards we should go somewhere, I think that'd be fun.

[ This girl is really...excitable. It almost makes Maki feel like she's barely a teenager since she can't match that kind of enthusiasm. ]

Bread and rice? That's all? Wouldn't you want to have fish or some kind of meat? [ Maki forgets that most people can't eat expensive things like that. ]

G-Go somewhere? Like where? For what?

I don't know, we could take a look around. Or maybe we can go out to eat! [Poor people go out to eat all the time, where do they even get the money to constantly go to McUnion's anyway?]

...I guess I could show you around. You probably don't really know where anything is here.

[ It's not like Maki has a lot going on at the moment anyway. She can do this much for a newcomer. ]

I-It sounds fine.

Alright! Hey, what do you guys do here for fun anyway?

[There's all the obvious stuff, but Union has to have some awesome things Caldera doesn't. She's sure of it.]

F-Fun? [ Way to ask a loaded question like that out of no where! ]

I mostly practice my music, and I've been taking dance classes lately..

You can dance? [What] And music?

What kind of music? Do you like to dance? Do you sing? Or play an instrument? Is it hard? How long have you been doing it for? Can I hear?

Well, I'm learning to dance... [ She's afraid to say she's any good at it, since she just started, but this is Maki, of course she is. ]

Jeez, can't you slow down a little?

[ Taking a deep breath she tries to answer them all. ]

Whatever I like best, I don't stick to one genre. I don't mind dancing, it's good exercise. I sing, and have a vocal coach as well. I play the piano and a few other instruments. I've been singing and playing the piano as long as I can remember.

[ And then that last one.. ]

W-Why would you want to hear me?

[She listens intently, very pleased with everything Maki has to say. That sounds wonderful, she must be really talented.]

I'd want to hear you because it sounds like you're really good. I like to hear music and songs, and I get the feeling that you care a lot about it. [With that resumé, she's willing to bet Maki is really, really good.]

Would you play or sing for me sometime? [Or both!]

I do care a lot about it. Music is really important to me, it always has been. B-But it's not like I will just go around singing for anyone who asks you know!

[ Gotta fill her tsun quota somehow! Still, the idea of actually singing for someone who wants to hear it doesn't actually come up that much. ]

I guess I could sing a little if you want though..

That would be GREAT! [If she could hang on Maki right now, she would.]

What's your favorite kind of music to play right now?

[ Honoka's enthusiasm makes Maki cringe just a little, but only because she's not used to it. Even her other friends she's met are nothing like this. ]

I-I guess...love songs...

[There's a loud gasp.]

Ohhh, those are so pretty too, I really want to hear one of those...

Then you'll play for me tomorrow!

I'm not going to sing you a love song!

[ Why is everything turning up romance lately in her life?! ]

W-Wait....you didn't mean it like that did you?

Whaaaa? No, of course not! I just like those songs, just as much as any other songs!

[Not hitting on you Maki! They just met! Don't be scared of Honoka, even if she's creepy enough as it is!]

They're just really pretty, that's all!

[ She's not that scared, just a little embarrassed! Everything has been romance lately, in ways she didn't even expect, so she's just a little...confused about it all! ]

G-Good. In that case, I guess I can sing something for you. But I don't want to hear any criticism until the end, got it?

You got it! [Awwwww yissss]

Hey, where do you live so I can drop by tomorrow? I'll be with Hino-san tonight, but I can walk to your house tomorrow.

[And then. They can do all the things.]

It's not that hard to find really. [ Since it's giant and all. But Maki gives Honoka quick directions, making sure the other girl understands and won't get lost. ]

I'll tell our maid to expect someone coming by then.

Thank you very much! [She writes down the directions, puts them in her backpack and gets a little excited.]
