Today on BNW: Beach Surprise! Ami's Special Birthday Gift...

Who: Usagi Tsukino, Ami Mizuno, Rei Hino, Makoto Kino, Minako Aino and any party crashers that may just so happen to be near the beach *cough*The outer senshi*cough*
Where: Beachside, south of Union!
What: Wouldn't you guess, it's Ami's birthday! Usagi's taken the time to set up a birthday camp expedition to the beach with food, swimming and games to show a certain book worm how birthdays should really be according to her mantra.
Warnings: You've got the usual senshi shenanigans with a dash of the Body Swap event mixed in. Sounds like a hilarious episode, doesn't it?




[ Thanks to a little birdie one Rei Hino, it was up to Usagi to come up with the best birthday she could in what little time she had. And after careful consideration for who this birthday was for, Usagi could only come up with nothing but beach fun! It was still warm enough that swimming wouldn't get any of them sick, but it was cool enough that they wouldn't die of heat.

So, with friends, pokemon, food and camping gear in tow, it's time for the best birthday that Usagi hoped would be the best birthday Ami would ever have! ]

ooc: So, since this log is pretty simple, it's only going to be separated by Friday and Saturday (for obvious reasons). Friday might have more in terms of playing around, helping Mako-chan with the food or pokemon shenanigans but otherwise, have fun! It's not every day one turns 17 after all. ;D Also, don't be surprised if threadjacking happens? A whole bunch of teenage girls in one place.. it's only natural that everyone is in each others' business... unless you state that you don't want thread jacking. that's fine too!

[ It's okay, Usagi wouldn't trust herself to make food for a special occassion. Leave that to Mako-chan the professionals! She is, however, done with making sure everything is set up and the shuffles on over to the fire priestess. ]

What do you want to do first? Swimming? Volleyball? Make super huge sandcastles?

I...think that swimming might be nice? It certainly seems like what Ami-chan would want to do.

[And she doesn't mind that. Volleyball though, ugh...]

[ Wait a minute. ]

... have you ever gone swimming before?

Yes, I have. Of course I have.

[Just...never with friends.]

Then don't sound so unsure of it!

[ And like that, Usagi quickly reaches for Rei's hand and starts dragging her butt to the water. ]

Let's go!

[faithfulflame]

[And Rei's butt is dragged, Wahh!]

You're...really excited, Usagi-chan!

That's cause it's the beach! We won't be able to swim in it after a few weeks so we have to take advantage of it!

[ On her way to the water, Usagi just kicks her flip flops behind her in a fit of excitement and laughs happily.

But, don't think that the laws of being the MC of a magical girl series nature aren't at work, because Usagi's balance is thrown off completely when wet sand and the force of water pushing against her legs and it sends her tripping face first into the sea. ]

ACK-pbbbbbt!

[And...nearly takes Rei with her as she flops over. Somehow though, the dark haired girl manage to not fall and instead gasps.]

Are you alright?! What happened?! [Because a pebble shouldn't have done that...]

[ Usagi takes a large gasp once she pulls her head from the water. She looks water logged, but the excitement hasn't seemed to have left her yet. ]

It's so cold! It feels really nice!

[faithfulflame]

Is it?

[Rei frowns at the water, stepping out to her toes. She's not sure she wants to swim in...cold...water.]

It's just a bit of water, Rei-chan. It's not going to hurt you.

[ And because she's Usagi, she turns around so she's sitting in the water and raises a hand to splash some of that water onto the unsure Rei.

SHE WILL GET YOU SOAKED YET. ]

[faithfulflame]

[The water hits Rei and...the droplets actually start to sizzle a bit.]

It can...

[It is her weakness, after all! Her KRYPTONITE!]

[ And to see if it the water does that again, Usagi flicks more water in Rei's direction. ]

[faithfulflame]

[It does. But only the little droplets.

And Rei stares back, steam literally rising off her exposed skin...]

It's not going to stop doing that unless you hit me with a lot more.

That's amazing! I've never seen anything like that before!

[ Please excuse her, but, Usagi may have just decided that this experiment was the coolest thing ever. ]

Well, then you need to get into the water or I won't stop splashing you!

[ Although knowing Usagi, she'd still do that anyway... ]

[faithfulflame]

You know I could set your dangos on fire, right?

[Rei slips out deeper, and as she does so, swipes a handful of water at Usagi.]

Eh?!

[ She looks so shocked! Even after she covers her face to avoid the water. ] You wouldn't do something like that, right?

[faithfulflame]

Keep it up and you'll find out, won't you?

[Smirking, Rei moves deeper into the water and flicks out more!]
