Wait. It's hard to tell, but that's actually a dude in drag. Hopefully you have good perception-- if not? Kuranosuke's not going to correct anyone who mistakes him for a girl. He's got on make up, a lusciously full blonde wig, and pink from head to toe apart from his black miniskirt.

It looks like he's making this broadcast from the business district, and he's speaking with a girly lilt to his voice-- what, gotta act the part if you're dressed up, right?]

It's a pleasure to meet you all, I'm sure. Let's get down to business, shall we?

Kura-po, you think everyone's boring nowadays.

I'm not wrong! There's never anyone with the right style. Everyone's always talking and talking- but it's like no one cares about what they do! I need something new.

[Pearls just lets out her own exasperated sigh. What is she going to do with this boy?]

Yeah, them. They said they were looking for old technology or whatever when they found us. I'm glad they did, otherwise who knows how much longer we would have been sitting there. Do you know how long it took to get the taste of grass out of my mouth?! ♫

Huh. So, you really are a singing android... When were you found?

Wait.. is that... rude? [ What does a robot consider 'prying'...? ]

[Of course not! They're mostly just a bunch of strangely repaired nicks and cuts--synthetic skin is tricky like that. The real "manly battle scar" is out of sight.]

I don't care, you must have just missed our awesome introduction. But we just arrived a few days ago--or at least that's when they woke us up. ♫

Oh, you're right. I was in bed with a cold a few days ago.

Does that mean I missed the opening song? What a shame.

Your loss. Who knows when we'll sing something again? It's not like we do it for a living or anything. ♫

[Len seems to have cheered up. At least he's smiling now.]

Well, how about you just let me know when your next performance is, and I'll come be a good little friend and cheer you on?

We sing whenever we want! I wonder if there's any places we can actually perform in... I'll need a guitar--or better yet a keytar!

But in the meantime I could sing something right now. ♫

[ Hook, line, and sinker. Maybe. This guy's unpredictable... ]

I don't even mind if you don't play any instruments.

I have the most fun when I'm singing. ♫

Well, it's a pretty nice day out, isn't it?

[Len does have to think on it for a bit first. But eventually, he's got it: Summer is Short, So Let's Fall in Love, Boys!! He's even doing a bunch of goofy pantomiming to go with it. When he's finished he's grinning and fixing his hair.]

[Kuranosuke listens, wide-eyed.

It's still a peculiar sound... but man. He's never heard anything like it.]

Jeez, you're really stinkin' fast!

[...Oh wait, right, he's supposed to talk like a pretty girl. Back to that voice--]

That was amazing! I've never heard anything like it! Tell me, do you sing alone?

[What he's not thinking of opportunities to dress up an aspiring band what are you talking about]

[Len doesn't even notice the change mannerism. It's totally normal as far as he's concerned!]

Thanks. Being an android means I can sing as fast as I want! ♫ [He's grinning cheerfully now, enjoying the little boost in confidence a successful performance brings.]

I sing alone sometimes, but I really like singing duets with my twin sister Rin. ♫

[Oh, he's intrigued. He's so intrigued. He can see their name in lights. Robot superstars. Things just fall into his lap.

Tell me, is your twin sister just as adorable as you are?

Don't call me adorable, I'm a man you know! Nobody will take me seriously if you do that. And for the record, nobody's cuter than Rin. That's why we make such a good team. ♫

[Of course the two of them are identical, so there isn't really an argument there.]

And who says a man can't be adorable?

[A glimmer of mischief flashes in Kuranosuke's eyes.]

But anyway... You know, I'd like to meet that sister of yours. I think you'd both make such an excellent band.

[Len doesn't even respond to that. Kuranosuke simply gets a flat stare. Luckily they're moving on!]

Well duh, I told you we were looking for somewhere to play, remember? If you want to meet Rin, I can just grab her--but don't just forget about me! ♫

Yes... but you can't get anywhere with just somewhere to play. Who's going to do your makeup and clothes?

Unless you already have a manager...

I guess it couldn't hurt... [That's his stubborn way of agreeing.]

But where are we going to find a manager? All anybody seems to care about here are Pokemon or doing stuff for the city. ♫

You can't dress pokémon if you can't dress yourself.

[Len opens his mouth, about to retort with a snarky "yeah, I'm looking right at you" until his offer is suddenly threatening to be revoked.

He backpedals before it's too late.] Uh-- wait, wait! I didn't say I didn't want it! I'm just making sure you're qualified first... We're professionals, you know! ♫

Of course you are! I understand your apprehension...

Everyone should go in with that kind of attitude, I guess. So how about this-- you, me, and your sister should meet up and have a little chat!
