It looks like he's making this broadcast from the business district, and he's speaking with a girly lilt to his voice-- what, gotta act the part if you're dressed up, right?]

It's a pleasure to meet you all, I'm sure. Let's get down to business, shall we?

[With a sigh, Kuranosuke ends the transmission and looks over at his Togepi. Dropping the feminine voice, he shrugs.]

Well, let's hope we don't get anyone boring.

I'm not wrong! There's never anyone with the right style. Everyone's always talking and talking- but it's like no one cares about what they do! I need something new.

[Pearls just lets out her own exasperated sigh. What is she going to do with this boy?]

[Another person interested in Pokemon contests? Were they really that popular?

Also, someone has been working in the back room, so she--along with the Nidoking watching over her shoulder--are more than a bit dusty.]

Thaaat's right! Though, I'm open to pretty much any purpose at this point. Do you know someone who needs a confidence lift, honey?

[He's all back into his pretty voice again, even if he's resisting the urge to touch his shoulders. Oh man. She's all dusty and he can't even straighten her out what is this.]

She pauses to think for a moment.]

I've tried to help her myself, but either she doesn't want it or doesn't think she does. She's been getting better lately, but has a long way to go.

[Pearls chirps a few things at him, to which Kuranosuke just gives her a wink-- Pearls at least seems content with it.]

I'd be willing to take a stab at it, I suppose. Now, what's your name, cutie?

I'll try. She isn't making it easy for me. I just wanna see her be happy.

I don't know how she'd feel with a man helping her with that, but maybe you can help her through me.

[His voice evens out, and he seems kind of annoyed.]

Let's just say I'm pretty picky about clients... and all of them up until now have been boring. I mean, sure, the cash is good considering I already get an allowance, but it's not worth it.

[...And then he perks up.]

[She shakes her head.]

The realization dawns slowly, but nothing can stop the sun from rising. Color rushes to Kuzuryuu's face as he figures out what's going on here.]

[Kuranosuke softens, wiggling his fingers in a hello at the Rattata. From his arms, Pearls reaches up to get a better look.]

Then let's leave business to old men, shall we? What might your name be?

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu. And this is Kinji.

[Kinji climbs down to get a close-up look at the two of them, squeaks his greeting, then hops back up to Kuzuryuu's shoulder again. Kuzuryuu rubs between his ears absently.]

Don't pay any attention to him, he likes to stick his nose into everything. I never heard of a contest stylist sticking to just one kind of client before. There a story there?

Oh, a Kuzuryuu, are you?

[That really means very little to him, but he files it away for later.]

No, not really. And I'd be open to more than one... But for now, I'm looking for something special instead of eight rich people throwing money at me to do their jobs for them.

...Let's just say I'm looking for a charity case.

[He's not sure how far into the political world his family name's reached, but if people are starting to recognize him, he ought to really pay attention to it.]
