What: The end of summer is quickly approaching, get your last bit of summer fun in now!
Warnings: Beach episode shenanigans.

Bright sun, warm sands, rolling waves, the tropical island was the place to be. With the new port making travel out much easier, the island was seeing a surge in tourism. Something about fighting giant fiery gods must have made people eager to jump into the water and relax.

They're good for getting wet in. They started getting popular once people made all the safe routes to the ocean. [ innooocennt smile ] And of course Daisy wanted you to enjoy yourself too.

So don't be a big baby and we'll get changed. I've got something too.

((Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh. But he won't argue anymore - just making some general grumbling noises before turning away from her and starting to change with a warning of--)) Don't look at me.

What are we even going to do in these? I don't know how to swim.

[ Oh...! She won't look! She'll even direct her metagross between them, muttering a 'hey, no, look this way' when Teal goes to face Green. No curiously watching Green change now! ]

Do you want to learn? It'll be good to know if you ever end up in water.

When would I ever end up in water? It's not like I go out trying to end up in scrapes like you do. ((Oh, Green. He gives Blue a little glare as he finishes pulling on his trunks, though he's... kind of blushing.))

Maybe not now, but I'm going to keep up the fight that getting out and being around the pokémon you love thinking about is going to do more for you than staying to the books in your room. How do you think those researchers put together all that material in the first place? You can't dislike something without really trying it, you know.

[ Is he done? He might want to let the metagross blocking their views of each other! ]

((He steps around her metagross, shaking his head.)) I know that. You've told me that before, and I actually do get it. Just... there's a difference between observing pokémon in the wild and ending up in an ocean.

Just because you don't think it'll happen doesn't mean it won't. [ She's grabbing the towel, as well as a blue garment for himself. ] What if you're travelling over water and you get caught off-guard? It's better to know just in case anyway.

And what, you're going to teach me? ((Eyebrow raise. Such an eyebrow raise.))

Would you like someone else to teach you instead?

I mean. ((Huff huff why are you making him blush again.)) I mean. Not particularly.

[ He looks better when he blushes!! ]

Then it's settled. [ Good! She stands up. ] Just let me go and get changed. Keep an eye on our stuff? [ Because she's motioning the metagross to follow her. ]

Yeah. I... right. Okay. ((Still not sure how he feels about this!! But he'll sit down next to their things, arms folded over his knees as he waits for her to come back obediently. Hum hum. The sun is warm today~.))

[ He should feel great about this! Blue comes back a while later, having used the towel and Teal's assistance with getting changed not on the open beach like some people. It covers some of the top of her legs, as well as her shoulders and is entirely blue. Nothing fancy. ]

So, Green! [ talking as she makes her way back! ] What do you want to do first, huh? Swimming lessons? Exploring? Hey, bring out your pokémon too!

((He huffs a little at her enthusiasm, but sure enough, lets out Vee, Pidge, and Rat. Vee quickly curls around his neck as she always does, despite his protests against her heat, while Pidge and Rat stumble around on the sand, enamored by the new sensation.)) Exploring. Should probably give these three a chance to stretch their legs.

[ ~deal with it~ ]

Alright. Let me just sort out some of my guys... [ In turn, Blue sends out Sola the Espeon, Indigo the Blastoise and Seabells the Azumarill. Sola has as much of the same of reaction on its paws, while Seabells and Indigo are much more used to it. There's small chatter with Blue and them ("what do you want to do? Hang back?"), and the two water pokémon end up ollying over to the sea. SEE YA. ]

Hmm, okay. Sooo... [ with a glance to each person present! ] I nominate Green to be the leader! We'll follow you.
