Plot Description: Some kids from Union help to spread the awesomeness of Pokémon habitats to our desert neighbors.
Warnings/Notes: Probably not OSHA compliant.

Rise has just about exactly enough common sense that she did, in fact, expect that convincing Caldera's and Union's leaders that building a secondary Pokémon habitat in the desert city was a great idea would be the easy part of the endeavor. Now she and some volunteers from Union were doing what she - correctly - figured was the hard part, which was the actual construction of the sprawling structure. Fortunately, between Union's architects and Caldera's engineers, the planning wasn't up to a bunch of clueless kids, and even a lot of the construction was paid local labor - they're mostly just here as representatives of Union's willingness to help out their allies.

That's not to say they weren't doing work, of course. Rise, standing under a parasol, was coordinating the Union volunteers - split between material hauling and doing detail work on the new structure - using her powers. All in all, it was going smoothly...so far.

It can help by painting, too? It nods emphatically.

"Ol!"

It toddles back to the wall with the can of paint.

Well, that crisis was averted. Usagi just smiles on the way back to the wall, and once they're there, motions the Golett to place the can down so she can hand him an paint brush that's not in use.

"Here you go, little guy. You see all those parts that aren't the same color?" She points to the very edges that haven't been quite covered by the pale green paint. "Can you get to them for me?"

The Ivysaur that's with her just takes the dipping his brush into the paint and goes back to getting the top of the wall.

Golett is a little awkward at holding the brush, but it soon figures out how and gets busy painting. Its strokes aren't entirely even and leave some beads of paint slowly making their way down the wall, but it's helping and that's all that matters now, right?

The wall is quickly becoming full of color, and every so often when Usagi's done with a section, she glances down to the Golett to see how its doing. She can see a few imperfections here and there, but it's nothing that going over it one more time can't fix!

She's just glad that it's not taking as long anymore, "You're doing a great job!" And she means it. "Just a little more and we'll be done with this!"
