[No Nozomi today. The video comes on to a very face. Coeus is no longer a ~~floating bubble butt~~ baby, but look! He has nubs for arms! He wags them to illustrate. He is one step closer to being able to help out more in the shop! Maybe soon he'll be able to put things away, you know, with hands and arms! How cool would that be?

He's even convinced his human to teach him how to write! So cool!]

[Nozomi's voice chimes in from off-screen. Whoops! He's not supposed to be using this, eep! Feed off!]

[With the recent goings on between the raiders of Citadel, and the appearance of a God, Nozomi is feeling just a bit inadequate. It made since that Eri would show both her and Maki up in a fight--she was a trained fighter, after all--but it bothered her that she could not defend herself, let alone the other person with them.

So, during the week after the attack, Etteilla will be closed. Nozomi and any number of her pokemon can be found outside of Union, training. It seems that Nozomi has picked up a staff and is attempting to learn how to use it, to varying success.

When not trying to beat whatever it is she's trying to fight to a pulp, she can be seen sitting and meditating.]

[Jinxie comes out to the forest to meditate quite a bit too. She's not used to seeing someone already there when she arrives, though. But it's Nozomi, so rather than leave to find another place to do her own meditation exercises, she quietly settles down next to her cousin. Close enough to make her presence known, but still far enough away that she won't be a distraction. Kneeling down, she slows her breathing, trying to match the rhythm with Nozomi's own, just the way Maya taught her at the waterfall.]

[Nozomi notices her, but instead of saying something, she simply smiles a little bit, then goes back to her business.

Puck, who has been sitting here staring at his human partner for the last hour to no avail, decides instead to start pestering Jinxie instead. He goes invisible and starts to tug at her hair lightly.]

[Wow, Nozomi is really good at this. Jinxie grumbles quietly as she settles in, not terribly fond of the hair tugging that's going on.]

[JinxieJinxieJinxieJinxieJinxieJinxie pay attention to Puck JinxieJinxieJinxie.

Tugtugtug.]

[Still with her eyes closed, Jinxie reaches over to take Puck in her arms, sitting him down in her lap as she attempts to continue meditating.]

[No~! Unhand him, woman! This wasn't what he wanted! This isn't what he wanted at all!

Nozomi's snickers a bit, eyes still closed.]

[Jinxie's response is to start humming. Just one long, continuous note to help herself concentrate and also hopefully to calm Puck down as she gently strokes at the wisp protruding from the top of his wooden body.]

[He squirms there, not wanting to sit still. No, Jinxie stop that's not fair!]

[Nope. Too zen for that. Jinxie keeps hold, continuing to hum, adopting the manner of someone trying to calm down a fussy baby.]

[To heck with your zen, he wants to move around! Let him go!]

Puck, settle down, you know you're not supposed to be acting like that.

[No tone of malice in her voice, but the Phantump stops in his tracks. He pouts a bit and settles down.]

[Oh, Puck. More energy than you know what to do with. Jinxie smiles a little as he starts to quiet down, though, finishing out the meditation exercise with Nozomi.]

[After a few moments, he has not only calmed down, but has nodded off in her lap.]

Wow, even I can't do that.

[Jinxie smiles back at her cousin, nodding.]

Maya helped me with my meditation exercises when I evolved, and I've been practicing a lot.

No, I mean Puck.

Oh.

[Jinxie looks down at the little Phantump dozing in her lap, patting him gently.]

I thought I'd try letting him tire himself out fussing.

You must be really good with kids too.

Maybe. I've never really tried.

[She's the young one in this little mixed family unit of theirs. Everyone was always babysitting her.]

You'd be good at it, I think. If Puck there is any indication.

[Jinxie looks down at Puck, smiling a little.]

He's cute when he's sleeping, isn't he?

He is. It's the only time I can get him to sit still.

Well, he's still young. I'm sure he'll mellow out.

I hope so.

[Well, Jinxie will just let Puck sleep for the time being.]

So, were you out here for training, Nozomi?

[She doesn't quite wince, but smiles a bit awkwardly.]
