Second Solo - Video/Action;

[ At the start of the video all a person can see is the lower half of a girl's room, expensively decorated in what must be some kind of mansion. Nothing moves on screen, even as Maki's voice speaks up. ]

D-Does anyone know anything about Shifters? I-It's not like I need help or anything, I-I'm just trying to learn more about them.

[ Even though she says that, her tone of voice, the awkward stammers, it's clear that she's not being 100% truthful. ]

What if someone ended up getting stuck completely transformed...and didn't know how to turn back? N-No, wait! What I mean is... not like that but...

[ If the person in question isn't completely clear by now, it's made even worse when a woman's voice is heard off camera saying, "Maki, are you coming down for dinner?". ]

M-Mama! [ Suddenly scrambling to turn off her Warp Band, a purple, feline looking Pokemon comes into frame for just a moment, and then the video turns off. ]

[ action ]

[ If you happen to see a slightly off color Purrloin wandering the streets, or perhaps just sitting and listening to someone playing a violin somewhere in the city, it might just be Maki. This is the first time she's ever fully transformed, and is still afraid of people, though she will try not to run away from anyone who approaches her. She's also not sure how to turn back, worried that the more she stays like this, the more permanent it might become. ]

[did somebody say violin? Because if Maki wanders into a convenient outdoor amphitheater in the park, Michiru will be there. If anything, the piece she's playing sounds a lot like the one she got with Maki, though it looks like she adapted it to violin.

Her only audience is a Ponyta doing her best to groom a wiggly Togepi, but it doesn't look like she minds. If anything, she's perfectly happy to get away from all the noise and fuss at the theater.

If Maki approaches, her vigilent Ponyta will look up and snort at the Purrloin.]

[ Her ears perking up at the sound of that song, Maki follows her feline desires to wander lazily around, ending up in the amphitheater. She barely even notices the Ponyta, instead focusing on Michiru on the stage. She's afraid of going up and talking to her, especially like she is right now...but maybe she can help Maki?

And so she pads forward a little towards the stage, only to realize the Ponyta is a lot more frightening up close. That snort makes Maki's tail stand straight up as she hisses in response. ]

[Ponyta flares up at the hissing! Where do you think you're going, Purrloin? She's standing guard here!

...Ponyta's posturing is cut short, however, when Togepi decides to take this chance to make a daring escape...straight towards the interesting looking kitty!

Little escapes Michiru's notice, but she's amused enough that she'll keep right on playing.]

[ Maki really doesn't know how to handle being spooked by a Ponyta. She of course knows almost nothing of Pokemon or even their temperaments, so she's hiding beneath a seat, still hissing just a little.

That is until she sees the egg Pokemon coming toward her, her ears flattening against her head. ]

H-Hey, don't come any closer to me!

Action.

[How peculiar. A Liepard will approach you, Maki. She doesn't have a nose like a Houndoom, but she can tell when something is off.]

[Are you lost?]

[ Maki has been sort of trying to stay away from other Pokemon, but it was only inevitable that she would eventually come into contact with one. What's more surprising than the resemblance between them is that she can suddenly understand the Pokemon, unlike she had been able to before. ]

I-I'm not really lost... just confused.

[ She could go home if she wanted, but at the moment she feels more like wandering around, smelling things, and the like. Part of her is still trying to figure out how to turn back too of course. ]

[The Liepard nibbles her paw a bit.]

[ About what? Is this your first time above ground? ]

[Had she come up from the Old City? She didn't smell like it. She smelled more human than anything. Also had no idea how to groom herself in that case. Human smells were so... human-y.]

[ For the moment, Maki doesn't even care about her problem, she's focusing on what she just heard. She appears slowly at first into frame, the head of a Purrloin. ]

How did you even manage to get stuck?

[ Don't you know, you should take a girl's word for it!! ]

I-I never said I was stuck! Just...I was just wondering what someone would do if they were!

[ She is the worst liar. ]

You are a really awful liar. [he sighs, then speaks a bit more gently;] You have to relax. Like there's a muscle that's cramped and you're trying to work it out. Sometimes going to sleep helps.

[ Maki will have a message waiting for her when she gets back - audio only. Someone's caught on their correspondent might not want to be seen right now. ]

That much trouble, huh?

[ You're not going to be able to hide this predicament with a hat. So that's what it was for, for that matter. ]

[ Makis glad that she doesn't have to hide her face, with the switch to voice. She only wishes she had thought of it first... ]

You must be thinking about someone else...

[ Yeah right, Maki is the worst at covering things up. ]

[ Okay, she won't press the issue. Instead she inhales thoughtfully and sexily. Goddammit, thinking over Maki's purely hypothetical question. ]

Deep breaths and focus. Let everything slip away but the goal. And before you know it, they're waving the flag...

[ This might be a muffled chuckle. ] ...That's how racers accomplish things, anyway.

[A pause.]

That's, uh, the advice I'd give them. That's - what I think would help. Uh...

[Mukuro won't tell if you don't tell, Maki..]

[ It sounds like decent advice really, and she hasn't had a chance to stop freaking out since she woke up in this Purrloin body. However, making yourself calm down is a lot more difficult when you're in a strange body, and every little noise is caught in your ear. ]

I can try that..

[ Maki forgets for a second that she wasn't asking for help for herself at first. ]

And, if you're... too distracted by everything, maybe... find somewhere secluded?

[While she's taking time to listen to something, Maki might just be interrupted by a fellow feline of her kind, who does not seem to have a sense of timing...
Tail swishing, this Purrloin's going to ask-]

Hey! Whatcha lookin' at? Whatcha listenin' to?

[ Maki is surprised by the sudden voice near her, turning to look at something...that looks pretty familiar. She doesn't know much about Pokemon, or even her own Pokemon type, but she can tell that she looks the same as that. ]

I-I'm not looking at anything in particular!

[freelyfalling]

[Prr? Oh, not fooling her!]

You've got to be looking at something! Or you'd just be sitting here. You're not just sitting here, are you?

I'm a shifter! You can't get stuck forever, I don't think.

[He pauses but considers.]

I did get stuck for a week once, though...

[ That's a good thing to know, but it's hard to completely believe... ]

A-A week?! I can't be like this for a week!!
