[With the theater season officially open, the Divine Theater has little else do with the summer but prepare for next season's jam-packed schedule. However, preparation doesn't really bring in money, so, as they do every summer, the Divine Theater has opened its doors to summer classes! There is even word that those students who excel might even be considered for staff next season!

The first class is free in the hopes that they will bring in new students, in the hopes that people will sign up for more. The offerings are rather diverse.

Acting classes, both beginning and advanced; music lessons for singers and instrumentalists; conducting classes; beginning and advanced sewing and costume design; makeup; theater tech and lighting; beginning and advanced dance classes; stage fighting and choreography, just to name a few. There's a little bit of something for everyone here. The front desk ladies have even taken it upon themselves to start their very own beginner accounting class. It's cute, you should check it out

For those working around the theater, it was a busy time--maybe even more than when they were putting on productions. Cleaning to do, classes to help out with, and, of course, making sure any students don't go down secret hallways labeled "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" that totally aren't hiding their super secret base of operations nope nothing here to see folks.

I'm sure she is. [ That came out a little harsher than Maki meant, but she doesn't mean anything by it. She simply doesn't have the trust between human and Pokemon that others seem to. ]

If she can learn, why don't you try too? [ On that, Maki is a little nicer, trying to convince the other girl to try. Though Maki can't help but tug a little at her winter hat she has on. ] I'm only learning myself.

[ That's okay, Hotaru doesn't have the trust between human and human that most others seem to.

Her Gothorita, however- ] Gothorita? [ Translation: "What's her problem?" ]

Lilah, be nice.

But I'm not.... [ Socializing is hard. :( ] I mean, I guess I... could.

[ Maki can almost feel like the Pokemon is saying something about her, but what it is exactly she isn't sure. Though the girl's response makes it clear that the Pokemon doesn't like her. Well, if she doesn't like Maki, then Maki doesn't like her! ]

You're already here, you might as well try to learn. Besides, people are more suited to dancing than Pokemon are anyway.

[ Actually, she has no evidence to back that up, other than her distrust of Pokemon. ]

[ Well, Shifters are supposed to be able to understand Pokémon. Hotaru's not good at pretending not to understand them, though. ]

I live here though. [ She pauses a moment. ] Do you really think I'd be suited to dancing?

[ This time, her Gothorita tries to cheer her on with a "I think you can do it!" ]

[ Maki's current problem, of not being able to Shift, or even understand Pokemon, stems from her rejection of Pokemon. She doesn't understand the Gothorita, because she doesn't want to. ]

You live here? At the theater? [ Maki shakes her head though, focusing on the dancing. ]

Aside from that, I think you'd be a fine dancer, you just have to try. [ Says the girl who hasn't actually danced outside her bedroom before. ]

...All right then. I'll give it a shot!

[ Well, now that she's said that, she supposes she really should.



...How does one dance, now? ]

..You don't know what you're doing do you?

[ Maki quickly figures that out, and stands with her hands on her hips. Though it's not like Maki knows what she's doing either. ]
