Aaalright!
[Maya looks particularly excited this morning.
She stands in front of the Kurain Manor's school entrance, though she's facing the school, so only the street is visible behind her.]
So, just to let everyone who visits know... we kind of have a new guardian.
He's reeeally big, okay? But he's been here a long time, so you'll recognise him. Maybe.
[She giggles, turning the camera to face Peri, who has just evolved into Abomasnow.
Peri, whose castform buddy Powel is giving a cooling wind, rubs his neck shyly and waves. Now that he's officially the guardian of the household, he's wearing a Magatama too-- but as he's not a psychic or ghost pokémon, it's not been charged with any spiritual energy. It's mostly a mark of status.]
This is Peri, and you'll see him greet everybody outside the school for classes.
Don't be scared, okay? He's the same as always, but we figured he'd do a lot better out here than inside. Make sure to say hello on your way in!

[And Jinxie goes off to make some tea, arriving at Maya's front door soon after. Since her hands are occupied, she lightly taps at the door with the tip of her boot.]

[Don't mind her opening the door with a broom in her hand. She at least has the mind to clean up a little before Jinxie arrives.]
Thanks so much. Come on in.

[Jinxie smiles, handing the tray off to Maya so she can take her boots off.]

[She snickers-- she doesn't mean it, after all. She'd take hanging out with Damien Tenma over Morgan Fey in a heartbeat.
She takes the tray, waiting for Jinxie to finish before she starts to lead her to the livingroom table.]
How is 'e, by the way?

Ooooh, super secret investigations, maybe. Or maybe he's going to bars. Who knows.
[A shrug, and she puts the tray down before kneeling at the table.]
