[Maya looks particularly excited this morning.

She stands in front of the Kurain Manor's school entrance, though she's facing the school, so only the street is visible behind her.]

So, just to let everyone who visits know... we kind of have a new guardian.

He's reeeally big, okay? But he's been here a long time, so you'll recognise him. Maybe.

[She giggles, turning the camera to face Peri, who has just evolved into Abomasnow.

Peri, whose castform buddy Powel is giving a cooling wind, rubs his neck shyly and waves. Now that he's officially the guardian of the household, he's wearing a Magatama too-- but as he's not a psychic or ghost pokémon, it's not been charged with any spiritual energy. It's mostly a mark of status.]

This is Peri, and you'll see him greet everybody outside the school for classes.

Don't be scared, okay? He's the same as always, but we figured he'd do a lot better out here than inside. Make sure to say hello on your way in!

[She doesn't sound affronted by it-- just casual, as though that is how things are supposed to be.]

But, pick up stuff on the way home and I'll top it with whatever you pick.

[She looks back over her shoulder at him for a moment, tapping her chin.]

Or sweet. He likes sweets too.
