[Setsuna doesn't make many posts to the Warp Band. Responses, sure, but not many posts of her own. Today you will find her at the Habitat, Water level. She is standing next to a supposedly new face: a Slowking. You might also notice Setsuna looks a little different as well, darker skin and hair than before and more intense eyes. The changes are subtle though, so they might be overlooked.]

I wanted to show the results of one of the items I brought back from Caldera. Lethe was exceptionally interested in the King's Rock when I showed it to her. After some trial and error I traded her with Haruka's assistance and...well here we are. This is Lethe, evolved into Slowking. Say hello Lethe.

[Lethe waves cheerfully, sticking her head up with pride. She wobbles slightly though, clearly still not used to the weight of the large crown on her head.]

Thank you again for your help in discovering this, Haruka.

She is not the only one to experience evolution either. Recently I felt a great rush of power myself. I have not experimented with the limit of my powers yet, but I believe Slowking and I will be practicing here. If anyone is interested, I do not mind having the company.

[Setsuna stands back as Lethe dives into the water. She then proceeds to start throwing psychic blasts at the water that Lethe dodges beneath the surface. Lethe even manages to deflect a few with psychic defenses of her own.

She keeps this up for several minutes before Lethe pops up out of the water on the opposite end. She waves at Setsuna to stop.]

Very good Lethe! That was very impressive.

[Setsuna records some more notes while Lethe makes her way back. On her way she spots Melaka watching and waves at her with a smile. Hello. Are you enjoying the show?]

[ Oh wow. That's the sort of thing she does for her training too. No one on her team is expected to do stuff he won't at least try herself and the pecking order is determined with her doing matches against them. They can both grow from it. It's possible she's just projecting (after all, she and hers are a it rough and tumble as compared to how elegant this person looks) but seeing the same theory (she thinks) applied to psychic is... neat.

Oh.

She waves back ]

Hey! Took the invite!

[Setsuna looks over to where Lethe is and notices that another woman has joined them. That's fine, she had put out the invitation.]

Greetings. Thanks for coming.

Yeah -- no problem. [ Err- ] Thank you for the invite!

[ This is a good distance, right? yes ]

Well. I thought it might be considerate. I know I enjoy learning about other's training methods and pokemon.

[Setsuna looks back to Lethe.]

Lethe. Let's see how your defense capabilities have improved, if any.

[Lethe nods, serious once more. She's gotta prove herself!]

Yeah. I'm physical, so... [ Really, this sort of practice is more or less alien to her. None of her pokemon so far are that specially oriented even ]

[She thinks it could still be viable. But Setsuna nods and returns to focusing on Lethe's training. They're working on defense so Setsuna sends different psychic blasts of varying power and speed at Lethe. The Slowking is supposed to block or dodge the assaults and she manages it fairly well.

A few do get through, but since they are both Psychic types it doesn't do a lot of damage. Lethe recovers quickly too and her determination shines though.]

[ Hmmm, that's interesting. She wonders how Lethe is blocking - repelling with its own psychic power? Barrier? Light Screens? Protect? Either way, it's impressive to watch the both of them. She ends up sitting at the edge of the pool here, taking off her shoes to put her feet in. This gets her pants a bit wet, but it's a relaxing thing and might summon Shimmer back up to here, but she considers how she personally would dodge those ]
