[Setsuna doesn't make many posts to the Warp Band. Responses, sure, but not many posts of her own. Today you will find her at the Habitat, Water level. She is standing next to a supposedly new face: a Slowking. You might also notice Setsuna looks a little different as well, darker skin and hair than before and more intense eyes. The changes are subtle though, so they might be overlooked.]

I wanted to show the results of one of the items I brought back from Caldera. Lethe was exceptionally interested in the King's Rock when I showed it to her. After some trial and error I traded her with Haruka's assistance and...well here we are. This is Lethe, evolved into Slowking. Say hello Lethe.

[Lethe waves cheerfully, sticking her head up with pride. She wobbles slightly though, clearly still not used to the weight of the large crown on her head.]

Thank you again for your help in discovering this, Haruka.

She is not the only one to experience evolution either. Recently I felt a great rush of power myself. I have not experimented with the limit of my powers yet, but I believe Slowking and I will be practicing here. If anyone is interested, I do not mind having the company.

[Setsuna will be at the habitat if anyone is interested. Or feel free to speak to her over the Warp Band about evolution.]

[ Haruka has yet to announce her presence, but between witnessing Lethe's evolution and living through one herself, she's plenty curious about what both Lethe and Setsuna can do now. And she's extremely familiar with the Water level of the Habitat, so finding her way around isn't an issue.

So she's hanging back once she spots the pair, then approaches Setsuna from behind. Quick, Lethe! Are your reflexes any better now? ] How's it going?

[Setsuna and Lethe had not started training just yet, too busy responding to the other messages on the Warp Band. She turns around when she hears the question and Lethe turns as well. Lethe bounds over to Haruka and waves enthusiastically.]

Hello Haruka. We haven't started yet.

[ Look at that! You're not so slow, are you? Haruka nods at Lethe, both hands in her pockets. That really is some hat. ] Do you mind an audience?

[ And out from behind her pokes a tiny bear head, a burgundy scarf tied in a bow around her neck. This is the wrong level...but her Trainer wanted her to practice making ice. Making ice on the Ice level sort of is counterproductive, since it's too easy. ] Choo.

Not at all. I did say I wouldn't mind company while we worked.

[Setsuna brushes her hair back.] Besides, recent events have taught me that the battle field provides plenty of distractions. Testing our ability to block that out and focus will also be important.

[Completely ruining her serious moment is the appearance of a small bear that makes Setsuna break into a grin.] Well hello little one. Do you need practice as well?

[ Cubchoo starts, and grips Haruka's pant leg in a nervous reflex....but she has to be a brave little bear if she's going to be of any use to her Trainer - or a refined, elegant lady, for that matter. She can't let herself look indisposed in front of another woman.

So she steps all the way out, patting herself down and trying to breathe shallowly in the hopes of not dribbling all over herself. ] Choo. Cubchoo.

[ She curtseys to Setsuna first, and then to Lethe. A Slow...king, are you? She must present herself well to royalty. Even if you don't look like much.

Haruka just grins. Kid wants to be Michiru and doesn't even know it. ] We won't bother you too much.

[Lethe isn't quite used to being royalty yet. She bows her head at the little cub, smiling jovially. This is fun!

Setsuna merely nods, both to the bear and her partner.]

Let's get started then. Lethe?

[Lethe turns and goes towards the water. It's time they got this training started.]

[ Haruka stays back and encourages Cubchoo to do the same; she settles down to watch Lethe's training, with a nod to Cubchoo to start generating ice. Bother her when you come up with something you're satisfied with, okay, kid? ]

Cubchoo! [ Her Trainer is going to watch the Slowking instead of her? For a moment it's disappointing, but then Cubchoo realizes she's being given a chance to impress her Trainer. She can even suffer setbacks without being seen.

Not, of course, that it will come to that. She will create the most beautiful ice, and she will do it on the first try. Cubchoo takes a deep breath, blows her nose, takes another breath. Whatever Slowking does, she has to do something even more magnificent! ]
