Gaming news today. The Rhyhorn arena's hosting a big Pokémon race. If it runs, and you can fit on it, you're welcome to participate, though there'll be other races for the smaller ones too.

We'll be putting up flyers with the details. [ It's hard to read the flyer that's being waved about onscreen, however. Probably because the Pokémon doing the waving isn't much bigger than the flyer itself. ] Sewa!

[ ...Yes, you're a big help. Haruka slowly pushes Sewaddle out of the frame. ] I'll be seeing you all in the wind this time, kittens.

[ A wink, and she's gone. Why is it always her. Why is she always the one doing advertisements? Could it be she's a naturally gifted salesman? Is this her true calling?

She doesn't want that... ]

[ action ]

[ As promised, Haruka and her Sewaddle are plastering the town with flyers - or, well, Sewaddle is putting them up at bug-level with silk while Haruka wanders around with another pile tucked under her arm. Every now and then she hands one out.

You could also encounter one of the following pairs of Pokémon helping to advertise elsewhere:

-- A Murkrow slapping people in the forehead with flyers to get their attention while a Cubchoo tugs on others' shirt hems and bashfully offers a flyer with a quivering "Cub?".

-- A Pidgeotto dropping flyers much more gently than Murkrow while a Rotom looks on in amazed admiration. Mother is so clever.

Or, if you're a Divine Theater member, you can meet Haruka collapsed in a mess hall chair after the fact! Sewaddle is fanning her with a folded-up flyer. He is innovative. ]

None of mine're big enough to ride on. [ Except Jove but Jove is... new. And Jove ] Kinda feel like some of 'em would try, but I don't wanna go in half-cocked.

[ See how unconcerned she is? You totally have this! What's more, she totally has this. She is Haruka Tenoh and she has an answer for everything. She is just that cool. ] I guess you could search for a new friend in the meantime, but that might feel mercenary.

[ She didn't see the flier, yet, for details, but she's curious now ]

[ She nods. Her personal taste runs to, well, running along with the Pokémon, but it is fairer that they're offering these other things. ] Flying, swimming, running. We shouldn't let the big kids have all the fun, right?

...You know, if you include rolling, I think Slugger might wanna try.

If that's how they naturally move. [ These races are really going to be...something. ]

What kind of Pokémon?

Donphan - kinda bulky thing with a big nose and turks. He can run, but if he's going fast, he's rolling.

[ Okay, Melaka's Slugger the Donphan for the land race. Got it. Haruka makes a note of this information for the gaming committee. ] Sounds like a creative guy.

Resourceful's more the word - guy's good at getting the job done.

[ and has always tried his hardest. She admires that in him ]

Let's hope that helps him race. [ "Getting the job done" is pretty much one of the most important things to her, though, so. She approves of this rolling Donphan. Or maybe the mental image is just making her laugh, who knows.

Haruka closes her notebook. ]

I guess I gotta get one of those fliers before I answer that, but for now...? Not really. [ A beat ] If you're racing, I'll cheer for you. 'Less one of my pals is in there.

Sewa! [ There's that little bug again. He will make sure too!! You don't have to worry about a thing, because they are helpful people like that!

....well, he is, anyway. With his Trainer it varies sometimes, but that's okay, she's still a wonderful person. ]
