Yo.
[ Here's Haruka Tenoh's face on your Warp Band. Don't worry - she'll pause and grin long enough for the imaginary theme music to subside. ]
Gaming news today. The Rhyhorn arena's hosting a big Pokémon race. If it runs, and you can fit on it, you're welcome to participate, though there'll be other races for the smaller ones too.
We'll be putting up flyers with the details. [ It's hard to read the flyer that's being waved about onscreen, however. Probably because the Pokémon doing the waving isn't much bigger than the flyer itself. ] Sewa!
[ ...Yes, you're a big help. Haruka slowly pushes Sewaddle out of the frame. ] I'll be seeing you all in the wind this time, kittens.
[ A wink, and she's gone. Why is it always her. Why is she always the one doing advertisements? Could it be she's a naturally gifted salesman? Is this her true calling?
She doesn't want that... ]
[ action ]
[ As promised, Haruka and her Sewaddle are plastering the town with flyers - or, well, Sewaddle is putting them up at bug-level with silk while Haruka wanders around with another pile tucked under her arm. Every now and then she hands one out.
You could also encounter one of the following pairs of Pokémon helping to advertise elsewhere:
-- A Murkrow slapping people in the forehead with flyers to get their attention while a Cubchoo tugs on others' shirt hems and bashfully offers a flyer with a quivering "Cub?".
-- A Pidgeotto dropping flyers much more gently than Murkrow while a Rotom looks on in amazed admiration. Mother is so clever.
Or, if you're a Divine Theater member, you can meet Haruka collapsed in a mess hall chair after the fact! Sewaddle is fanning her with a folded-up flyer. He is innovative. ]

Sewaddle has to stretch waaaay up on his very back legs to make it, but there we have it. Wearable art. And the green of the leaf is so vibrant against the rusty colors in her fur! ] Sewa wa!
[ Haruka just grins helplessly. You guys put up with way too much from the bug. ]

There you go. Very pretty, Scout.
Vul?
[Scout doesn't seem so certain, but since the leaf's not flapping into her field of vision anymore, she's willing to accept the compliment and go with it for the time being.]

And then she's grinning easily at Hawke, indulging her curiosity. ] So how'd you meet Michiru?
[ No offense, but you aren't quite her usual crowd. ]

I used my warp band to ask for information when I first got here, and she was one of the people who responded. Lulu was very concerned that I seemed to have something attacking my face.
[He grins and strokes his (immaculately groomed) beard, in case there was any question.]

Sewa sewa wa! [ Sewaddle heard "Lulu". So now he's climbing onto Hawke's foot and gesturing hello. What about his friend? What about her? ]

[Aaaand looking back down to the tiny adorable Sewaddle on his foot now.]
The first time we met she thought my looks might be improved by the addition of some flowers; she recommended you as a good stylist.
no subject
Oh, now he's embarrassed. It's hard to modestly scuff a foot along the ground (or Hawke's shoe) when one's leg and foot are the same digit. ] Sewaddle...
[ He just hopes you liked it. It was fun to help you out. Especially the crown part. ]
no subject
I did like it.
[He laughed his ass off when he caught his reflection in a mirror, later, but Sewaddle doesn't need to know that. >.>]
And I still have the crown. The flowers dried nicely, so I hung it up on the wall where I can see it.
[Well, he hung it up on Anders' wall, since he's still camping in the forest outside of town like a hobo. But he's always barging into Anders' place, so he sees it a lot!]

[ He's just so starry-eyed. His work is on display. On display.
At this rate he may never move from Hawke's foot, so Haruka bends down and scoops Sewaddle up. He doesn't seem to notice he's not where he used to be. ] You're good with little ones.

I have a pair of younger siblings. They're all grown up now and very mature [though his tone indicates the exact opposite of what he just said] but they were tiny and adorable, once.
no subject
Haruka grins at that. ] They'll be excited when you find your way back.
[ But she'd rather not completely broach the awkward subject of "how you got here" and "how to get you back" - so she hefts her bug and her flyers. ] I'd better keep going. Good luck at the race.
[ She's not about to play favorites, but the puppy horde will be well-represented. She's sure of that. ]

[Being homesick sucks. Best not to dwell on it, though! Luckily, now he and his little pack have something fun to look forward to. He carefully folds the flier and slips it into his pants pocket, for more careful reading later.]
Thanks. We'll be seeing you.

[ And if that sounds like she's including Hawke in that statement, so be it. Haruka turns to go with a smile, Sewaddle waving farewell to everyone before scampering up her jacket sleeve to take his place on her shoulder. Nice guy. Well-behaved pack.
Puppies are sometimes just as nice as kittens. ]
