[Action - Lake Shrine]

[Reimu is generally a lazy person by nature, and isn't too big a fan of training, so she sometimes puts that off. Still, since she did need to be in good enough shape to do her job, sometimes she would still drag herself away from the Hakurei shrine for a bit to improve her and Ruukoto's skills a bit.

Of course while she did this, she'd also keep an eye out for anyone who might need a bit of help, since that was also a part of her job. She wasn't a ranger, but as Hakurei it was still her duty to help out where she could.

Still, considering her complaints about going too far away from the walls in this weather, this still apparently didn't stop her and Ruukoto from going out as far as the lake.

The young priestess landed near the Lake Shrine, Ruukoto riding on her shoulder, bundled up from head to toe in her winter clothes. She did have to admit that the lake was a pretty place during the winter months.]

... I guess we might as well look around, huh?

[As Reimu is wandering by the lake, an unusually colored Slowpoke. As it spots her it yawns and very deliberately turns its back on her and sticks its tail up, giving her a very good view of its butt.

A shiny Slowpoke appeared!]

[Reimu pauses when she spots the slowpoke. That one's color seemed a little weird somehow- Oi, now, what's this? What does that thing think it's doing?]

Seriously?

[Ruukoto jumped off her shoulder and called out to it before Reimu could stop her, demanding to know what it's problem was.]

[And from yon behind emerged a thunderous noise, followed by a stench that could wake the dead, only to immediately lay them to rest once more.]

[Reimu makes a face and hold her nose.]

Ugh. That's charming...

[Ruukoto was closer so she gets it a bit worse. She coughs for a few moments and then growls, before charging at the Slowpoke. No way is she just going to stand by and let this jerk treat them like that for no reason!]

Ruukoto!

[Well, it's not like she doesn't think this guy needs to be taught some respect too, but just charging straight in like that... sometimes her pokemon is more hot headed than she is.]

[The Slowpoke slowly turns around and Yawns at Ruukoto.

Ruukoto feels drowsy!]

[Since Slowpoke is slow, Ruukoto does get a tackle in before he uses Yawn. Still, now the eevee is trying to shake off her drowsiness.

Reimu sighs.] You really shouldn't rush in like that...

[As if the miko could talk. Still, she floats into the air and summons her Yin Yang Prbs, firing a few shots at the Slowpoke. If he wants to pick a fight, the might as well both give him one.]

[Ruukuto kind of bounces off the Slowpoke as it lumbers forward. The Yin-Yang orbs explode, sending the Pokemon flying. It doesn't register the surprise until it has landed on it's face several feet away]

[She considered attacking again, but decided he'd had probably learned his lesson anyway, and it was probably better not to over do it, so she activated her warp band.]

Are you going to behave yourself now, or what?

[The Slowpoke stares at Reimu slack-jawed. Then it wags its tail. Reimu is not certain it actually comprehended what she said.]

[... Okay. How stupid is this thing?]

I asked you a question. Do you even understand me? Jeez...

[The slowpoke blinks for a moment. Then it shuffles up to Reimu and yawns at her. Reimu starts to feel drowsy as it curls up around her.]

[What the- Hey! She kicks it off her, not very hard, but still, trying not to yawn.]

What do you think you're doing?! Cut that out!

[Oh yeah, Ruukoto's kind of, um... She kind of nodded off for a few seconds there, but she's awake again now. She also tells Slowpoke off for doing that.]

[As Reimu falls asleep, the Slowpoke does too. It doesn't even move away from her after she kicks it.

Reimu has bonded with a level 7 Shiny Slowpoke! Kind of! All other statistics may be chosen at your discretion]

[Well, it's a good thing Ruukoto is awake now, so this should get sorted out eventually. Also Marisa will never let her hear the end of this if she finds out.]
