What: Brave New World had it's beach episode. It's time for the first hot springs episode in this game to celebrate it's discovery!
Where: Scorched Forest - Hot Springs
When: Week 18 Weekend | Early Afternoon to the Evening
Warnings: Potential nudity and fights if someone get caught peeping. Let's try to keep it PG-13 in here.


[With the recent discovery of the hot springs, a group of citizens in Union decided to come together to set up an open event for everyone in the city who wishes to not only to check out and explore the springs, but to relax from the everyday life in Union. It is open to the general public so everyone is welcome!

The party area is obviously set up with decorations and other party requirements plus mostly cleared of any wild Pokémon. However, wild Pokémon are still wandering around so expect a Slakoth to swim with you or an Aipom steal food while you are not paying attention. There are cloth walls set up for more private areas and tents are available for changing into bathing suits, towels, or just go naked. It's recommended that you do wear something, but nobody is going to stop you if you go commando.

It's certainly warm to hot in this area for obvious reasons, but it shouldn't be too uncomfortable unless you have a Fire weakness. No matter where you are, the springs are giving off a relaxing air. So please, enjoy yourselves.]

Could you? [reprimanding Waltz in front of Cubchoo will definitely not help them get along. Otherwise, Michiru is going to have to get out of the water and that's hardly an attractive option.]

[ Haruka nods imperceptibly before twisting her head to look up at the bear. ] Sky, could you go see if there's a stand selling drinks anywhere? The money's in my slacks.

Cub! [ Why, look! Someone is being proven wrong already! She is trusted with an important duty; that must mean she is a worthwhile and incredible bear!

Flushed with delight at being thus relied upon by her Trainer, Cubchoo scuttles off. Haruka calls after her. ] Treat yourself, too.

Cub choo! [ Turning and curtsying at that before nearly tripping over her own paws as she goes to explore. She's going to be useful! She's going to be useful!

.....Haruka just laughs. At some point somebody should probably tell Cubchoo that ladies never run. ]

[Waltz sniffs as the bear runs off. Whatever, Cubchoo. That's just a stupid errand.

She shrinks a little, however, when her Trainer's eyes turn towards her.]

Waltz. [despite the casualness in Michiru's tone, the Pokemon stiffens, sitting at attention.] If you can't control yourself, perhaps you'd be more comfortable at home.

[after a long moment, Waltz breaks eye contact first and is suddenly a lot more subdued than usual.

Satisfied, Michiru goes back to leaning against Haruka's shoulder.]

[ It's a good thing they're in a hot spring, because even though that wasn't directed at her, Haruka feels a little chill. What an amazing woman, Michiru Kaioh. A force to be reckoned with.

A force that somehow, improbably, enjoys being with her. She wraps an arm around Michiru - water dripping aesthetically from her arm as she lifts it - and casually cuddles the other woman. ] Aren't vacations relaxing?

[mm. Must be your charm. Or your good looks.

She chuckles, shifting against you.]

Well, they're certainly not boring. [never when you're around, anyway]

Not getting too hot for you yet?

[ What with all this body heat too, and everything. She has to be considerate. ]

If you have to get out, I understand. [despite her words, Michiru has not moved an inch.]

And leave the bear wondering where I went? Heartless.

[ Neither has Haruka. ]

I doubt she won't be able to find you.

[ And may you only ever use it for good. Haruka shrugs. She likes the heat. Especially the heat along the side of her body where you're leaning. ] I'm resilient.

[a quiet laugh, as she gives your shoulder a nuzzle] Good. I get to keep you here a little longer.

[Waltz wants to roll her eyes but. Conceal. Don't feel. Don't let them know.

Geez, even Cubchoo might be better company.]

[ Thanks, Waltz. Like Cubchoo needs any more excuses to sneeze. Oh, what must the drinks vendor think of her now...

Haruka flicks a quick look around and plants a kiss in Michiru's hair. ] You're welcome.

[a small, secretive smile. These small moments with you...] Hm? Did I thank you for something?

[actsmagnificent]

I'm not letting you out of my sight till we're home. [ You want cozy? She'll give flirting. ]

[that smile is slowly turning into a smirk] Did you think I was going to run away?

[actsmagnificent]

[ Funny how that same transformation is happening on Haruka's face. ] Maybe I just like looking.

[ She leans in. ]

Just looking?

[she'll tilt her face up, but that's about it.

[ This is unbearlievable. Approaching from behind, refreshments in tow, Cubchoo nearly drops a drink in the, well, drink. Oh my! Did she get sent away just so they could - they could -

oh goodness

She actually looks over for Waltz's opinion. How can you just sit there?! There are - there are - THINGS going on!!! ]

[Waltz turns and almost flashes Cubchoo a sympathetic look. Almost. She ditched that subdued demeanor as soon as the bear came crashing back, but at least Cubchoo is getting a level look, rather than a disdainful one. You are definitely new around here.]

It looks like your drink is here. [well, then.]

[actsmagnificent]

[ .....well, it beats unknowingly making out in front of the kids. ]

Now that's service. [ She reaches up to accept the cup from Cubchoo, who is left looking at the second cup she brought over. This is for the other human (she got herself a snack, and ate it already), but....but...

A lady holds no grudges. Cubchoo averts her face but offers Michiru the drink. ] Choo.

[well, well. Michiru smiles pleasantly and takes the drink.] Thank you, Sky.

[Waltz is boring holes into Cubchoo with her eyes. If that was an insult...

No. She's got wonderful self control and she is not even going to look at the bear.]

You forgot someone. [ Haruka watches Cubchoo patiently. How the bear responds to this will determine the way training needs to go.

Cubchoo looks down at her feet. Truth be told.....truth be told, she didn't. She's also got...

She pulls a small, paper-wrapped parcel out of one of the folds in her scarf, where she'd tucked it for safe-keeping. Truth be told, she brought a snack for Waltz, too. But dare she....? Should she....?

She turns it around in her hands, then practically tiptoes up to Waltz as if afraid of getting too close. A sniffle to make sure she's not dripping, and then she offers the Kirlia the treat. ] ....Cubchoo.

[ She's doing this for her Trainer, all right? For her Trainer. ]

[Waltz turns, stares at the treat, then at Cubchoo, and then finally at her Trainer. Who, apparently, is absolutely no help at all as she sips at her drink. Waltz doesn't doubt Michiru is paying attention, though.

So.

She looks Cubchoo in the eye and. And geez, this is hard.]

...Kirl. [...want half? And she's looking away again.]

[actsmagnificent]

[ This is hard. Cubchoo already had a snack. But it's so proper of Waltz to ask, and she thinks it might be a ladylike attempt at something resembling reconciliation, so she breaks the snack in half as daintily as possible - making sure not to touch the food, but the wrapper, the whole time - and offers Waltz the bigger piece. ] Choo.

[ Haruka takes a drink herself, grinning. See what happens when Michiru is supervising the kids try to grow up? ]
