[ Maki's at her piano today, tucking her hair behind her ear as she starts. ]

I've been working on a new song in the last couple weeks, but I'm having trouble thinking up lyrics. I'm not very good at thinking up words for my songs.

[ She's a little embarrassed to admit that in public, but she needs help! ]

It's kind of a love song, I guess you could say. But after last week I have a hard time writing anything...

[ Like breaking up with her girlfriend Chie so that she can hopefully be asked out by Nico. Life is tough. ]

S-So! If anyone is any good at writing lyrics or poetry or something, I'd let you work with me. Just get in touch with me, the sooner the better.

[To μ's:]

When is our next practice? I don't think we should slack off for too long, or else our hard work will be for nothing. Once I finish this song we can start working on that too.

[Here's a face you haven't seen on the Warp Band in a while! A face that is very, very close to the Warp Band, in fact.]

I'm no good at lyrics, but!! If it's a love song, you should think about things that you love. Like, for me it would beeee... [She taps her lip with her index finger.] About μ's! And bread. And my Pokemon!!

--and speaking of μ's; we can set up another practice soon. I'm sorry for being gone for so long, right after we started out. Once we've gotten a role call on everyone's status, and Eri is back from Caldera, I'd say a practice is overdue, even if it's just to see how everyone is.

H-Honoka?! [ That way she hears her voice so excitedly saying her name makes Maki blush. ]

It's not that easy to write a song like that! I'm really no good at it... [ She's already twirling her hair. ] Besides, no one wants to hear a love song about bread!

[ She does look a little happier at the sudden responsible side of Honoka showing. ]

I'm glad you agree. If we need some place to practice indoors we can come to my house I guess, as long as you give me some notice.

[Immediate cheek-puffing.]

I would listen to a love song about bread every day!! It would be so cute~!

[Okay but more seriously, a firm nod.]

I may ask that. I could also see if Rei is open to letting us use the Shrine again-- but I'm not sure if there's enough space.

Just because you might I don't think most people will.

[ Don't be so cute Honoka, Maki isn't good at handling that! ]

It's pretty surprising to see you like this Honoka. But if you lead then I'm sure everyone will follow.

[She smiles a little sheepishly.]

I was away for longer than I meant to be, it's my fault we haven't practiced in so long. I have to take responsibility for that.

If you can prove at least ten people would like a song about bread, I'll maybe think about writing you one.

[ She says sarcastically, certain Honoka would never be able to even do such a small thing. ]

It's not like you have anything to make up to us for. We're just glad you're here, and we can practice again. [ And be all together as friends...but Maki could never say such a thing. ]

[Okay but don't tempt her.]

Wait do you mean that?? You'd really write me a song about bread?

Maybe not, but I want to get back into practicing with everyone quickly, too.

[ She should really know better than tempting Honoka, but she can't help it, this is how she is. ]

If there's anyone who can bring everyone together, I guess it would be you.

[A sheepish laugh.]

[ When will Maki learn not to put her foot in her mouth? ]

You have more energy than anyone else. I didn't think I wanted to work with anyone, but you wore me down. I think you did that with everyone.

Of course it'll work! You underestimate me.

[She holds her chin up a little, smiling.] Well energy is good! You have to have energy if you want to lift people's spirits.

I would never do that.

[ She's twirling her hair, rolling her eyes a little. ]

I-I know that. I want this just as much as anyone else.

[Her smile broadens.]

You have a lot of really good energy too, Maki. When I listen to you sing, or play the piano... You're so passionate about music, it just makes me feel like we can do anything, in µ's.

[ While Maki seems to be fine telling Honoka how influential she is on the group, she can't accept compliments well at all, at least without tsunning. ]

I-It's only natural to love music like I do!

[ Maki is so bad at this! ]

If you want...you can come over and listen to the song as it is, and help me. I'll have our cook make some fresh bread.
