[ The beginning of the feed is shaky, but it quickly settles into a view of the Verdant Forest. A youth dressed in blue sits formally upon a rock, his gaze steady but a little unfocused.

There is a few moments of silence filled in by ambient forest sounds before he begins to speak. ]

Apologies for intruding upon your time.

My name is Marth. Due to recent circumstance, I have only recently been assimilated into Union. Thus, please excuse my unfamiliarity with accepted procedures.

[ A pause. ]

I would like to ask if any Trainers are willing to assist me in training. I possess fair knowledge in swordplay, but I fear that my skills may have dulled over time.

Information regarding the current state of affairs will be much welcome, as well.

[ There is a longer pause before the youth bows slightly to the viewer. ]

I will be lingering near the Forest Shrine of the Verdant Forest. Thank you for your attention.

[ The feed cuts here. ]

[And a couple of hours later he turns up at the shrine, followed by his ever-present Floette]

Y'know, I don't think I even introduced myself.

[ Marth seemed to have forgotten as well. ]

... my apologies. I should have asked...

[ The prince stood up from the rock which he had been sitting on. Something seemed to have heaved it aside from its original position, revealing stone steps leading into an underground cavern. ]

May I know your name?

[kaidont]

It's Kaido. You're Marth, right?

[His Floette waves a hello too]

Kaido, I see... A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

[ He bowed slightly. Elyon, his Ralts partner, did likewise. ]

You are accustomed to barehanded fighting... I take it?

[kaidont]

Yeah.

[And unlike his usual habit, he actually taped his hands this time. In case blade contact happens]

[principilucis]

[ Marth nods again. If Kaido were to make contact, though, it would hurt him quite a lot. Best be cautious.

Falchion rises to his hand from where it had been lying on the grass. A blue glow begins to outline its bladed edges. ]

I will blunt my sword so that it does not cut you.

Still... please be careful. I do not wish to cause injury...

Didn't you want some training help too though? What d'you need help with?

[ The question catches him a little unawares. ]

Not any style in particular... though your method will prove challenging.

[ A pause. ]

I have not done battle in quite some time... with luck, my skills will not have deteriorated too much...

[kaidont]

[He chuckles]

I thought you wanted help with pokemon.

[And grins]

Well, fighting I can do all right. What d'you want, an actual match, or just exrcises?

[ Marth blinked slowly. ]

From your message.. I assumed you were referring to personal combat ability... so...

[ He shook his head slightly. ]

I can speak to Pokemon fine...

I meant I could spend time helping with whatever you needed help on and we'd have that fight in exchange. But this way works for me, too.

[ Marth nodded. ]
