So, my girlfriend and I were out on the Tropical Island earlier and I have some good news! I've started on a small workshop area. Right now it's a semi-permanent structure but I'll be improving it with later trips and making it generally more spacious. Since Good Rods need the wood, I figure it'll be easier to produce more of them while on the island. Also, Banzu, I'm going to try to set it up to help with construction when you're ready to make the island-side port. Let me know what kind of facilities you need and I'll make it happen!

There was always going to be talk, right? And maybe people would talk a little bit less if you waited with letting people know, but less or more, there'd still be talk. Nobility thrive on gossip, right? So it's not the end of the world, right?

No, but I can't completely avoid it. And I don't want that for Ezreal, either. He's established, the last thing I want is for my reputation to reflect badly on him.

Luxanna... [Fai hardly ever says her full name.] If he cared two damn berries about getting into trouble over your position, do you really think he would've more or less told everyone about you? [And Fai rarely swears either.]

I know he's not from our world, and perhaps he doesn't understand all the consequences that might follow, but I don't think you could love someone who isn't at least as brilliant as you, right?

He made that choice because he's proud of having someone like you as his girlfriend. He sounds pretty prepared to deal with whatever happens next.
