[If you're looking at your bands right now you'll be able to see a shaky video feed, and maybe a random leaf once in a while.

An Oddish is holding the warp band and pointing it at what seems to be a bonfire, somewhere outside, with a Litwick floating around it and a Slugma curling up in one side of the flames.

The poor Oddish is trying to stay away as much as possible, shaking a little, but holding the warpband no matter what. The Litwick comes and waves at the camera, pointing at the bonfire and laughing. You can hear a laugh from the fire itself]

Action:

[If you happen to be walking by the bonfire in the video, you'll notice it's not really a bonfire, but rather a man spouting flames from every part of his body and he's laughing like a little kid, waving a hand in front of his face with a small ball of fire in front of his face]

What did I say about setting things on fire?

[Floette is gonna... stay behind him, for once. Tooooo much fire for her, thanks. Scraggy peeks curiously, though, and so does the third pokemon with him, a corsola]

[he's too happy to pout, he's smiling like a moron and small sparks go out of his hair]

I didn't! I set myself on fire so it doesn't count!

[Lava looks up from her position besides the fire and nods, smiling a bit sleepily, enjoying the flames. Candle, when he notices who's standing by Ace floats happily towards them waving his hand at Floette and Scraggy, looking at the Corsola curiously, tilting his head to the side, before turning back to Floette.

'my human was the first of all of us to evolve!']

Yeah you set yourself on fire.

[Ace. Ace please.

Floette smiles and flies out from behind Kaido to meet Candle. Yeah he looks like he's having fun! More than Kaido did anyway.

And then she puts her hands on her hips. So when are you evolving?

Scraggy just grins a bit sheepishly. Yeah, Big Sis Floette at work again. Corsola, meanwhile, tilts his head in curiosity. Wow, that's a lot of fire types in one place]

I can't turn it off yet, I think I'm too excited for it, it's so awesome! I can make fire from almost everywhere!

[He laughs, and a few sparks come out from his hair]

oh guess what?! I'm not just a fire type anymore!

[and he laughs again. He's like a kid on christmas.

Candle shrugs, no idea, Ace told me Litwicks take a while to evolve, hopefully I'll evolve soon though! I wanna be bigger too!

Gladiolus the Oddish is behind Kaido now, trying really hard to stay away from the flames. He stares at the Corsola, really curious, this looks like a cute pokemon really]

Let's just hope you're not gonna stay stuck like that for a week.

... you a dual type now?

[You'll get there, she's sure of it :3

Corsola is a bit wary at first, because ahaha double grass weakness, but is too curious to hide. Hey. Is your trainer always like this?]

I hope so too, I don't wanna burn everything... or worse, have to stay here all the time

Yup! I'm a fire/fighting now, it's surprising how much more powerful I feel now

[I'm not too worried, considering Ace is the first one of all of us to evolve that means we're close! I know Lava wants to evolve soon too.

Lava just looks up and nods, going back to enjoying the fire.

Gladiolus just sighs, nah, he's a huge goof but he's usually not on fire, I think he can't control his powers right now after evolving he's pretty curious about Corsola, are those rocks on your back?]

[Hah]

Welcome to the team. I'd give you a high five but you're kind of on flame right now.

[More like coral than rocks... but then he is kind of a rock in general. But he can float]

I'm pretty sure I can put out the fire on my hands and feet [And he stares at his hand for a few seconds before the fire starts diminishing until it's completely gone] see? it's just the rest that it's not going off

[that is so cool, you're a water rock, that's the coolest thing I've seen all besides that morong burning his shirt, which was pretty sweet from far away]

I better not get blisters from this shit.

[But he's still dumb enough to give you that high five, followed by a brofist.

Corsola is flattered to get complimented like this, especially by a grass type. So where d'you come from? The forest?]

It's off, I'm not a kettle I don't stay hot after the fire goes off dude

[aw yes, he likes this, he laughs after the brofist

Gladiolus puffs up his chest. Yup, I met Ace in the forest! What about you? I've never seen anyone like you before]

Says the guy whose body's still on fire.

[But okay he's grinning too.

Corsola grins. I came from the ocean. Kaido sucks at fishing so I helped him out]

Yeah well, it just happened okay! It'll turn off soon hopefully

[as he says this a small spark falls from his hair and lands on his face, mixing in with his skin.

Oh! The ocean! we've never gone fishing, I don't think Ace knows how to do it actually, is it fun?]

[squinting at the screen here.]

...Is someone in there?

[The fire moves, and yup, you see dark hair that has fire coming out at the ends, and a face, that has a few sparks coming out every once in a while, still far away as the Oddish keeps holding the warp band and pointing it at the fire]

oh! I didn't realize that was on! [he sounds far away too, but he's trying to make himself be heard now that he knows he's being watched] yeah I'm here, hi!

[he raises an eyebrow, then.]

Try not to start a grass fire, will you?

[Ace straightens up his back and nods]

Yes sir! That's why I'm standing in place, so I don't burn anything besides this patch I'm in right now

In that case, you should also invite some people over for a barbeque.

that... actually sounds like the greatest idea ever

I'm surprised you hadn't thought of it already.

I think I was too excited about evolving to think about food, now I'm pretty hungry though

[who's ready for a misunderstanding? Cue a girl in a very pink dress and really long hair leaping down in front of Ace and pointing at him dramatically]

Sir! I'm going to have to ask you to stop...! You're endangering everyone...!

[Ace just looks up at her in surprise, he's trying really hard not to laugh, just in case he insults the girl]

I'm sorry little lady, but I can't seem to be able to turn all of this fire off for now, if you'd like to give a hand I would appreciate it

... so wait, you're not causing all of this trouble on purpose...?

not at all! It seems like my fire powers went out of whack the moment I evolved sadly

... so then, why were you laughing maniacally?

m-maniacally?!

[he stares at you in disbelief]

that's what I sound like!? I assure you I am just happy, I don't want to hurt anything or anyone

[Satsuki has been observing the mechanics of the warp band for a while now (as well as various lives of Union people), but this one caught her attention because of... seemingly being operated only by Pokemon. She's already learnt that people like to let their Pokemon play with their warp bands, but usually quickly take over - but in this particular case the owner didn't seem to be around. She frowned, looking at the feed closer, trying to figure out what's going on. I hope Candle and Gladiolus aren't too startled by this scary frowning lady's face]

[Gladiolus is surprised to see another face staring at him, a human who's not talking! this is weird. He makes some noise, as if trying to say something, waving his little leafs, and the warp band with them, making for a shaky feed, with random shots of the pile of fire every once in a while showing up.

Candle floats to the Oddish and tries to take the warp band, and noticing there's someone there he waves, the feed still shaking slightly]

[... Er, how does she deal with this... Satsuki nods at the greeting waves, slightly confused. She's still not really used to being on relatively friendly terms with Pokemon--so instead she'll try to focus on that bonfire in the feed. Surely it must mean something, if these two are so agitated about it?..

... But sorry, Candle, Gladiolus. She still keeps silent and just frowns further, trying to concentrate on the pile of fire. The shaking is making it pretty hard.]

[Gladiolus is pretty distracted, not really looking at the lady in the feed, but Candle, staring at the screen notices she's not really looking at them at all. He turns, looking at the direction of the fire and looks back at the screen.

He smiles, pointing towards the fire and looking up at Satsuki, tilting his head to the side, then pointing at her, and tilting his head to the other side, trying to question if she's interested in the fire]

[Satsuki takes a couple of seconds to translate that... and gives another half-confused nod. Having a gesture conversation with Pokemon is not something she's ever pictured herself doing.]

[Candle seems to understand, and turns to Gladiolus, talks to him, and ends up being able to completely take the warp band away from the grass pokemon. He floats away with it, towards the fire, and stands in front of it. The camera is not really pointing at the fire though, and Candle hasn't noticed this yet, but there's a voice coming from the fire now]

I can't put it on yet, I don't want to damage it more so give it back to Gladiolus yes?

[That actually takes Satsuki by surprise... for a moment, at least]

A person?

I see. Your trainer... and a fire type, too.

[... She's not too fond of fire types.]

[Ace is surprised to hear a voice coming from the band, only to notice there's a video feed and everything]

Candle, turn that thing around, let me see

[Candle does as he's told and fixes the warp band, so now you can see Ace's face, sitting in the fire, with flames coming out from the tips of his hair]

Oh, hello, I didn't realize you were there! And yes, fire type right here! Who are you if you don't mind me asking?

[... Satsuki observes him critically for a few awkward moments. Fire types are so... weird.]

My name is Kiryuuin Satsuki. Is that behaviour normal for fire types here?

[he smiles at her]

I'm Portgas D. Ace, and I don't know I don't know many enlightened fire types, this just happened when I evolved. Have you met many fire types?

Not... Enlightened, no.

oh? So any other kind then?

I've seen a lot of fire type Pokemon, if that's what you're asking. As for Enlightened... I've seen a few. But not like the ones that live here.

Ah yeah that's what I wanted to know!

[he scratches the back of his head, the fire on it moving a bit to the side with the movement]
