Ugh, this sucks. Why do I have to patrol? It's so early...

[About 11AM, there's a long haired boy in a Swords of the Savior uniform walking around one of the more populated parks. There's really no telling why they've let him wear his hair down, all that red flying everywhere. At least the flower petals and stuff have gone, that was annoying. He kicks a nearby rock in irritation before flopping down on a bench, not noticing the lady nearby who'd been walking towards it to sit with her baby... He doesn't even notice her huff and walk off. There's an Eevee in a cute sweater that's been trying to keep up with the seventeen year old, who finally jumps up onto the remaining space next to Luke and chimes in with a squeaky little 'Vee!' Luke groans.]

Don't add to it, Thing. You're so annoying!

[He tries to shove Mieu off the bench, but he just curls up under Luke's arm instead and he gives a dramatic sigh. His life is horrible.]

I should just go home already. Dad's probably at work, I could get away with it...

You arrogant-! [She draws her naginata and slashes as a warning. A few strands of red hair waft away on the wind.]

[Luke stumbles back a little, pulling his sword out from the sheath at his hip.]

You can't draw a weapon on a Sword!

[unreined]

Heh. That's a much better look for you.

[She twirls her naginata around in a show of dexterity.] You wanna give me an order, make me.

[tracedarte]

Sh-shut up! Put that away already!

[Luke finally draws his sword, pouting, but doesn't... really point it at Absol. That'd be dangerous!]

[Unfortunately for Luke, "drawing a weapon" may as well say "I also wish to battle".]

You need to be taught a lesson about respecting Pokemon, human! Quick Attack!

[Luke stumbles back, putting his sword up to block the attack and falling right on his ass.]

You can't fight like this in the public quarter!

Says who? [Absol is in full fight mode, but she will wait for Luke to get back to his feet before she resumes attacking.]

[tracedarte]

[He doesn't get up, just pointing the sword up at her in self defense.]

I'm a Sword! We keep the peace around here, it's the law!

You're supposed to be one of the guardians of this place?

Duh! And my father is a judge, so you better listen!

... [She swings for the sword, aiming to disarm Luke.]

[Predictably, his sword clatters to the ground. What a good showing of the Swords, huh.]

D-don't hurt me!

[That is definitely a surrender. Absol seems satisfied by that, and sheathes her weapon.]

You're lucky that the walls of this city do your work for you. The children you're supposed to protect are even luckier.
