[Rise pauses briefly as her Chikorita clambers over her head to try and get to the nearest set of overhanging vines. She suffers it with a grimace, as she'd only taken Nadeshiko out of the Habitat to give the poor workers there a small break.]

--ow. Anyway, did anyone else notice all the people and Pokémon acting weird have something in common? I was looking around and YEESH that tickles, girl, leave my foot alone!

Anyway, uh, I was looking around and most of the weirdness seems to be coming from Bug, Grass, and Fairy types, aside from those Castform guys. I--

[Rise suddenly blinks out of the camera and the Warp Band goes on filming the wall behind her. Himiko decided to play with Teleport again, despite a long series of lectures on why she shouldn't. The message is just going to go on until Rise's Chansey waddles by, waves into the camera, and thoughtfully turns it off.]

[Rise will respond to replies in a half hour or so when she makes it back to her room at the Theater.]

Yeah...last time Pokémon started acting weird, it was all of them at the same time, and Enlightened weren't really affected. I wonder what's different this time.

...it's more than a little worrying that Enlightened could be affected like that. There are probably a lot worse ways that could go, in a different situation...

Well, last time it was more like the Pokémon in the city were reacting to the earthquakes - running away from danger, basically.

This time there's not really anything scary or bothering Pokémon specifically like Team Evolution's machines, there's just...flowers.

Rise -- ah, dammit!

[It takes Asemu a second to figure out what happened, but figure it out he does. He immediately runs outside and sends his Fletchinder, Spearow, and Murkrow into the air to look for her, and awaits feedback from them.]

[Union's a very large city and Himiko has been to most of the nicer and more public places in it, but three bird Pokémon can cover a lot of ground. Rise's eventually easy-ish to find in a currently-overgrown park. She's scolding Himiko who is, naturally, mostly ignoring her in favor of playing with flowers.]

[second_destiny]

[The first of Asemu's birds immediately flies back and alerts him that it has found Rise. Following it as quickly as he can, Asemu runs toward where she was teleported to.]

Rise! Rise, are you all right?

[celebrity_commentator]

I'm fine, I'm just wondering where Himiko's getting the energy to keep doing this.

[Himiko grumbles, but actually starts thinking about this herself for a second.]

Well, how much rest has she been getting?

[Always look to what should be restoring her PP.]

Well, her and Toyo are the ones I always keep with me at my place, so I'm sure she gets a good night's sleep every night.

Still though, warping all over the place like this? If she was willing to do it normally I'd never walk.

Er...I don't know if even a former idol should be saying that. You've gotta keep in shape.

[Suddenly he's feeling really nervous.]

Well...you know! Health! You don't want health problems...right?

Like what kind of health problems?

[Himiko has the good sense not to Teleport again, but she is edging away very quickly from the current emotional climate in the immediate area.]

Just...um, stuff that wouldn't happen for another 40 or 50 years?

I'm wondering why it's worth bringing up then when we have all this weird stuff going on right now.

[second_destiny]

Well, um, you mentioned not walking. I had to say something!

Somehow, I doubt that.

[She looks up suddenly.]

Aaaand she's getting away again. Hold still!

[This time, Himiko is at least walking, so Rise can make the effort to chase after her and send her back to her apartment with her Warp Band.]

Doubt what? What's there to doubt?

...Oh, um.

[Asemu activates his warp band, and Bullet appears. The Fletchinder remains still for the time being, though, as Asemu walks toward the Kirlia at an even pace.]
