It's been a stressful day, actually it's been a pretty stressful week, and coming home from a particularly heated argument with his family all Yuui wants to do is curl up with something hot and sweet to drink, preferable with his twin and/or a good book for company and just relax. Unfortunately, coming in through the door and spotting Fai, this did not seem to be a possibility. Because Fai was moping. Again. Just like he's been doing on and off ever since Feliks had gone off to train on his own. So far Yuui's been mostly fine with it, if you disregard the small stab of jealousy he doesn't seem to be able to completely get rid of, but today with his already frayed nerves he finds that it gets to him more than usual.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself enough so that he won't do something stupid like snap at his brother he rests his back against the front door for a moment before properly entering the apartment. He manages a smile that is just the tiniest bit forced as he begins to prepare some hot chocolate for them both, if Fai is to busy sulking to want any Yuui can always use his portion for a refill.

"You're pining again." He keeps his voice as light as possible, careful to keep the tiredness and annoyance, most of which have nothing to do with Fai really, out of it as much as possible. "When does he return again, so that I can have my sunny, smiling brother back?"

Maybe it's some kind of twin esp. or maybe he's just able to hear something in Fai's voice that betrays the look on his face but either way it's enough to make Yuui abandon the milk for a moment to turn around and look at his twin. He then, valiantly, resists banging his head against the nearest smooth surface available. He also, equally valiantly, manages to avoid both the urge to run over to his brother and smother him in hugs and running over there and bang Fai's head against the nearest smooth surface available. In fact, he deserves some kind of medal for all the impulses he's resisting at the moment.

"It's because you like him, duckling." His voice is exasperated but at least it hides the brief but harsh burn which still follows no matter how happy he is that Fai has managed to find someone special, who is not him. "From what I understand this kind of behaviour is not uncommon when it comes to matters of the heart."

He softens a bit, and manages a small but genuine smile. "I've also heard that chocolate is supposed to do wonders, so why don't come over here and have a cup with me?"

Now it's Fai's turn to roll his eyes skywards very pointedly at his twin with a little sigh. "I know I like him. I've kind of noticed. Right between the first time I helped him into a corset and the time when Dotty crashed into the back of my head and I almost ended up kissing him in the elevator."

He chews his lip thoughtfully, but nonetheless peels himself away from his window to slouch over to his twin. He's wearing a lacy nightgown, hasn't changed out of it all day, and once he reaches Yuui he slumps against him with a small sigh, arms flopping around his waist. "I just didn't think it was going to be like this. All the other times I've liked someone a bit, it's been... well, distracting but not too bad, you know?" He pouts against his twin's shoulder, feeling rather vindicated in enjoying just a little bit of misery about his situation.

"But now... It's so dumb, and the worst part is that I don't even want it to stop."
