[Simon stares down the camera in his usual intimidating fashion, Taka the Taillow on his right shoulder and Tsurugi the Honedge floating to his left.]

It has been a long while since I have been able to freely draw my blade... and now that I can, I find I lack direction. While I feel that it might be best to find a forest clearing to train in at first, I am wondering where the rest of you trained when you first started out. It seems that the Old City and the Scorched Forest might be viable alternatives to simply training directly outside of Union, but I would like some confirmation.

Furthermore, what Pokemon would you recommend I bond with? As you can see, I have a Honedge and a Taillow on my side. [He gives Take a few scritches under his beak.] I would feel a bit more comfortable with traveling if I had a few more partners to work with. While I do trust that my blade is sturdy... it might still be a bit rusty.

How kind of you to offer. I believe you've been beaten to the punch, however. I've already got a fairly clear idea of where I'll start training and what Pokemon to look for, unless you had something else in mind.

Is that a challenge? If so, I accept... once I'm "back in practice," that is. I want to train for a little while, but I will certainly spar with you once I've gotten my strength up. A sword must be sharpened to stay keen, after all.
