Plantains.
[This is said very calmly for a man with a just-past-babyhood Tropius gumming on his perfectly coiffed hair.]
I find myself in possession of a great deal of plantain peels, just as of late. I've heard they make excellent fertilizer, so if anyone cares to pick some up, let me know.
[A pause, during which the Tropius makes shrill, earpiercing happy baby sounds. Then:]
In addition, I'll take this moment to congratulate the many applicants for the Rangers -- we've maintained our history of nearly 99% acceptance. [Of course they have; they accept basically everyone who isn't missing limbs/otherwise incapable of fighting. The training camp is the actual weeding-out process.] I look forward to seeing you all at the training facilities, very soon. Any other questions, please feel free to ask.
