[ Jean's normally spiky/fluffy haircut is even spikier today, if that's possible. The culprit? His baby mareep, which has decided to perch itself on his fluffy head. Babies are tiny, ok. And also full of static. ]

So the egg hatched the other day. You wouldn't believe what a pain it is to keep an electric-type from friggin' waking you up all the time when you've got feathers. This dumb mareep won't stop messing with my wings! But ma' likes her a lot, I guess, so we've been keeping her at home. Personally, I think she just wants free wool. (Don't let her know I said that.)

Anyway I guess I'll add my two cents in saying this tournament stuff is bullshit. But it beats getting attacked by weird machines so whatever, y'know? As long as they don't pull that shit again, who cares?

Oh, and I joined the Rangers, I guess. You can blame friggin' Eren and his dumb face. I know this shit ain't my journal or whatever but I've been kinda busy so I figured I owed some of you guys an update.

Still sucks that I couldn't get into the Swords, though.

Oh, cool. I guess she's the first electric-type I've bonded with, so she could make a good addition to my team. But I'm not super huge on the batting thing.

They are some of the most useful pokemon known to man.. amazing fluffy little creatures.. [He pauses.] Ah.. neither am I, but my Scraggy seems to be so interested in fighting.. so I've had to research it for her sake.

[ Jean starts petting Milly-- it makes his hair stand on end, but he doesn't notice. ]

Hmmm, I guess I'll have to ask if anybody's into it. I get the feeling Apollo'll go along with whatever, but my Klefki seems like the type who might wanna give it a go.

Ah, it was during the earthquakes. I was helping somebody who was helping a Houndour. Then we kinda ducked out of the way to check on the Houdour's leg, and that Klefki had picked that spot already. She got all pissy or something, but I didn't take her crap so eventually I bonded with her so she'd get that I wasn't all up in her business just 'cause I was bein' an ass or whatever.

They have been known to be um... primadonnas. [That seems.. nice, another person helping out Pokemon like that. Jean seemed like an asshole but he wasn't so bad deep down..]
