[You know who's, for once, not found outside Union? This guy.

Partly because of the people camping outside. The city officials might be all chummy with them, but he almost got trampled by a rampaging Nidoking because of them, and he doesn't feel like talking to them nicely. Or handing them any piece of technology, for that matter.

He knows himself well enough to know he'll just start fights if he tries interacting with them, so he's keeping himself inside the walls for now. It's probably best after this mindless training anyway.

The other reason is currently resting against his legs. His egg finally hatched, revealing a Trapinch... which is cool and all, except it keeps kind of falling forward with the weight of its own head if it's standing on the ground... and he can't keep it burried all the time. Especially when you live in a tower.

So his baby Trapinch is slowly following after him, bumping its head against his legs whenever they stop. He would have lost his patience long ago, had his newly evolved Floette not been calming him down.

Be careful not to fall into any holes. Thankfully, they shouldn't be too deep]

And yeah okay it's slightly painful but he's still smiling at you--since he can't speak. There's something in his eyes that might be amusement, or fondness, or just him being a troll again. Who knows. But he does crack you the slightest apologetic smile]

[He stares at you skeptically - and a little bit annoyed (he expected an angrier and more helpless response out of you), but deflates soon enough. You're still an idiot, though, but he's not as angry anymore. Crossing his arms and frowning at you]

... I'll let you go, but only if you apologize and stop saying stupid things afterwards.

[Hey, it's not fair to set conditions when you already have him in your power. He could try to break out of it to make that point, but...

He'll just stare back at you. And make himself--well, "relax" is probably the closest word, though he can't actually do that in this situation. But he's waiting for you to]

[What's not fair is him having to listen to your ridiculous assumptions in the first place. But alright, he unfolds his arms with a small "hmph", comes closer and presses a fist against your shoulder as a way of making contact. There's the familiar tingling again and you're free to move. He stands a little back and gives you another reproachful look]

[He's... quieter than usual. And that apologetic smile is still there]

Alright, I'm not mad anymore, you can stop looking like that.

What? I'm sorry okay.

[He's actually sort of confused. Didn't you want an apology?]

[Well, he did, but you know he's kind of the type to forgive you before you can actually open your mouth to apologize. He grins at you again, his tone a little mocking]

[Well, look on the bright side, he doesn't know anyone dangerous enough yet who'd take advantage of how easily he forgives people.
