I tell you, I take one business trip to Caldera and... uh... another god shows up! This got pretty intense, huh? Is everyone all right?

B: Action

[True to promises made, the Spearowfeathers have set up a shop. There is a storefront with a brightly painted sign of a Spearow on it, and the word "SPEAROWFEATHERS" written underneath it. Rose is standing outside the storefront. They're not open yet; instead, her people are moving things into it, carrying wooden crates and everything else.]

[Rose has her arms crossed. But she looks proud.]

[They're moving up in the world! But it's also quite a sight; it's not every day that a new storefront opens up after all. (Thank Lenna for the loan.)]

Oh? Have you been receiving a lot of those? [Genuine curiosity. She's not too much of a shopper, but more unique items are more likely to get her attention.]

Not a ton yet but we didn't have a great way to fill them. Now, we'll have more space, and we're thinking of getting a second caravan set-up. And we can get from city to city pretty quick.

That seems like a good idea, if you have the people to spare. Your group must be very extensive already.

Mmm, we're not that extensive. I mean... our group's pretty close-knit. We used to work together in Caldera before we became merchants. But we have a good work ethic and we know how to stretch our resources pretty far to get the job done!

I'd say there's about a dozen of us, total.

Oh... that number's a lot smaller than I expected. You may not be able to operate in the same way you used to in that case...

Well... we're gonna have to adjust. I think I may hire help for the store. I wouldn't mind getting store clerks to oversee that end.

Since a lot of the Spearowfeathers are really good at traveling and making sales, you know? They might be better suited to getting stock for the store than working it.

That seems like a good idea. You can probably hire a few locals to help manage the store itself, and send your regular barterers out to the various cities. With several directions to head in, you can even split the group that way...

Mm-hm. That'll break the work up. And hey, we make jobs for kids in Union! Can't argue with that!

Sounds like it's the right amount of experience needed to get them started. Do you just oversee everyone, or do you have more of an involved role in the process?

I do a lot of the contract-making, negotiations, and public relations. I actually have a quartermaster who handles most of the logistics. He's better at that stuff than me.

You know where your strengths are, which sounds like capable leadership to me.

Yep! I'm pretty awesome like that. And humble, too.
