[And it's Rose. She's grinning brightly, leaning down and looking at the monitor. Behind her, her Blaziken has his arms crossed and is watching. While Rose beams at the camera.]

I tell you, I take one business trip to Caldera and... uh... another god shows up! This got pretty intense, huh? Is everyone all right?

I'm a little worried about you guys!

B: Action

[True to promises made, the Spearowfeathers have set up a shop. There is a storefront with a brightly painted sign of a Spearow on it, and the word "SPEAROWFEATHERS" written underneath it. Rose is standing outside the storefront. They're not open yet; instead, her people are moving things into it, carrying wooden crates and everything else.]

[Rose has her arms crossed. But she looks proud.]

[They're moving up in the world! But it's also quite a sight; it's not every day that a new storefront opens up after all. (Thank Lenna for the loan.)]

Mm-hm! We operate a caravan, see--so when we go to another city to get goods, we'll bring stuff from Union.

[She motions.] This won't just be a store, it'll be a warehouse!

Ah. Well, forgive me if I'm getting ahead of myself, but my name's Yuuna, Captain of the Third Ranger Division. And if you're interested, I might be able to swing some work for you, miss.

Namely, moving supplies, and collecting some from other places.

[Ooooh. A Ranger. Good to know.]

Hey, that's what we're here to do! We like work. What kinda supplies you need moved? Mostly so I know if we need to use our wagon.

I'm Rose, by the way.

Mostly medical things. Nothing large. We also sometimes ship containers of food and survival supplies, too. We're trying to get some more waystations up near the borders of Union territory, and having those supplies is a huge help.

And nice to meet you, Rose.

Hey, we can help there. We've got a wagon and we might get another. I think we might have stopped by a couple of the way stations already.

We try and keep one every ten or fifteen miles along the road. If you'd be willing to help with our supply chain, and your credentials check out? I'm sure we could arrange a contract with the Rangers.

Hey, sure! We can do that. That shouldn't be too hard. Some of them are on our caravan routes, too, I bet. We can give you a discount on those.

Want me to get you our paperwork?

[rainsrespite]

Well that'd actually be pretty helpful. Please, if you don't mind. I'd need copies for approval if you have any, and I'll have my assistant contact you.

Sure. One second. [She looks over her shoulder and yells out:] Hey, Aiguille! Get the paperwork for the Rangers. All the usual stuff, our credentials ad everything!

[One of the Spearowfeathers nods, heading into the warehouse. Rose turns back to Yuuna, flashing a smile.] We're pretty used to this. We've taken contracts for the Calderans, too.

[It's a short bit later, and the same man comes back out. He hands Rose a packet of papers -- which she, in turn, hands to Yuuna. It's a membership roster, copies of the papers registered with Union and other cities, and some manifests.]

[Yuuna grins when the youth runs off and returns, taking the papers and shuffling through them. After a few minutes she nods.]

Looks in order. I'll have someone get in touch with you about the specifics and payment arrangements. We'll make it worth your time. I just...don't handle the money personally.

[She offers a gloved hand.]

Mm-hmm! Don't worry, I know how it is. There's probably logistics officers that have to do that, right? I think it's how it worked with the Steel Battalion.

[If she remembers right. She takes Yuuna's hand and shakes vigorously.]

Basically yeah. Quartermasters is what we call them. But yeah.

[Yuuna returns the shake.]
